How much do you love your Grandparents?

On my father's side I actually love them more than all of my other family

My dad's father passed away a few months ago and I regret not seeing him as much as I did once he overcame his alcoholism </3. See my Nana a few times a year.

Absolutely adore my grandparents on my mother's side though, would be lost without them, hope they live until they're 100 tbh.

I've no Grandparents now.

Just before I achieved a place at Uni my Mum's Mum passed away,I loved all of them but definitely was closer to My Grandmother on my Mum's side.

Haven't really come to terms yet with the loss of her,she was so influential in my life without trying to control it or my decisions.

My mums mum has died and I get on with my mums dad very well... i think i've got my cheekiness and humour from him. he's an alcoholic though, and he's getting old so i always worry about him. he has a gf and she's a right golddigger, but I think she's nice enough

My dads mum had a brain aneurism 15 years ago and doesnt remember who my sisters and I are. She now lives in ohio and her partner wont let us see her. He's a real creep, so we never really go over there. And my dads dad hasnt contacted us for over 11 years. I've not seen him since before I left america. I don't even know if he's still alive...

My aunt however (dads aunt actually... but she's only in her 50s) is like the grandma I never had.

I loved my grandmas, but my mums mum was also an alcoholic and died in a fire caused by her own cigarette. and my dads mum was brill too, but i dont really remember her being able to walk or anything

so yeah, depressing much... lol

i hate that i have no family here in harrogate. if things get too much with my mum, i wish I could just go stay with someone else for a while. but i cant

i wish my grandad and aunt lived here

All of my grandparents are sadly dead and have been for quite some time. And i only got to know one of them, my other Grandma (My moms mom) But i quite liked her when she was alive.

Both Grandads died before I was born, my Great Grandad though didn't die until I was about 13 I think at the ripe old age of 107 :pipe2: my Grannies are both going strong as well. They're alright I suppose.

My two Grandads passed away by the time I was 8 so I don't have a very strong memory of either of them.

My Nan on my Dad's side I do not speak to, let's just say there's not great relations there between my Nan and my Dad despite finally being on speaking terms again.

And I love my Mom's Nan, she's very hard of hearing, can feel a bit lonely sometimes because of Grandad passing away, and she may not say the most PC comments, but she can also be very kind to her family, funny, and despite the rehearsal being annoying, speaking to her on the Phone can be looked back on and laughed at.
