Tulisa WILL replace Mel B in tonight’s X Factor 2014 final, it’s been officially confirmed.



If you’re wondering just why Mel B isn’t on the show and where she is this evening, the unlucky Spice Girl star has comedown with an illness at arguably the worst possible time.

“Unfortunately Mel is still unwell and following doctors advice she will not be taking part in Saturday’s show. Tulisa will join the panel as a guest judge,” a spokesperson for The X Factor confirmed.

Mel had been unwell for the past few days, missing rehearsals on Thursday and yesterday’s dress rehearsal.

Reports from The Sun claim that she ended up in hospital after collapsing.

“She is in a bad way. Everyone is very worried. It seems impossible she will make the final. We are all just praying she comes through this,” a source told the newspaper.



Tulisa was a natural choice to stand in for Mel as she has been a judge on the show previously in 2011-12. She also featured in the show this year as a guest mentor at Louis Walsh’s judges house and during Jukebox week she chose Stereo Kicks song.

Tulisa will offer support to Mel B’s last remaining act Andrea Faustini during the final this evening.

“Tulisa is really happy to help out,” a source told the Daily Mirror newspaper. “She knows how important it is for the contestants to have someone there mentoring them, and getting behind them, especially when it is so near to the final.

“She will be making sure that Andrea gets as much help and guidance as possible.”

The X Factor returns on ITV from 8:30PM TONIGHT with the live final from Wembley Arena.

there was no proof at all about Misha B, but little mix have supported Misha B when she released her stuff and I remember them saying somewhere it's not true, but accusing someone of being a bully live on TV is really unprofessional and unfair to ruin someones chances when it could not be true

and liam is just giving him opinion :laugh:

I think Tulisa is just there to fill the four seat. They need four judges comments otherwise I think the show would finish too early with only three judges comments :)
