Well in the IB the grades were out of 7, so I suppose 7 means distinction? I got 7,7,7,7,7,4 (The 4 was in Chemistry haha) so I got a total of 41/45 (There are 3 bonus points), if that means anything to you :p

That is confusing well I never seen those grades before only A,B,C or Pass,Merit and Distinction. Was this in America?

I did a Geography Unit(Which i found so boring:laugh:) but had a distinction for that unit.

Nah, it's part of the International Baccalaureate, it's like A-levels but just another version of it. At uni, I have firsts, 2.1's and grades like that!

Just looked it up and it says a 41 is equivalent to A*/A*/A in A-levels if that means something to you, not really sure what it means myself

I got AAAB in AS history, psychology, economics and biology last year. I dropped biology and I'm now doing the other three this year at A2. Psychology is miserable but I enjoy the other two, hoping to do a history degree and I've got an offer from Warwick so that's my motivation to do loads of revision this year. :amazed: got to get them A's!!

Well I'm from America and I dropped out of high school 3 times lolol, got my GED and just finished my first semester at a community college... huge mistake, not going back in January for the second semester.

I'm an autodidact and school just totally crushes my enjoyment for learning. Most assignments are exercises in conforming to the views of the professor/book/society with little room for original thought or creative thinking. Plus I spent so much money on textbooks and they were filled with lies. My psychology book lists benzodiazepines like xanax as minimally dangerous with a low risk of abuse and demonized marijuana for causing cancer and having zero medical benefits. um...

in summation, **** school :hmph:

I'm American so I have next to no knowledge about AS and A levels and all of that, but I'm finishing up a dual major in math and secondary education this spring  also have started working towards teaching certification in Latin as well but we'll see if I continue that or not.
