San Juan del Sur was fantastic <333 nobody was playing to be a big character (until Reed tonight good lord), the cast had a great dynamic, #girlpower despite the girls being down 10-8 at the start, a bunch of emotionally-driven players resulting in many situations that seemed like fan fiction --- I could go on and on. The only bad part about this season was the first two episodes.

Thought the first ep was brilliant, there are so many characters. Would have liked it to be twice as long so we could have gotten to know them all a bit better.

I feel that So went against her own advice, she came across as a type of leader trying to get Carolyn out, there was no need for So to do that. Also the fact that none of the while collars thought once about having a girl alliance kinda turned me off all three of them, so I didn't mind who left between the two.

The blue collars are my faves, apart from the furniture removal sales guy, he reminds me a bit of the lying cop in the last series.

And I don't trust those free spirits at all, they seem like anything but free spirits, I suppose they wouldn't be this ultracompetitive game for a million if they were.

Wow. Vince gone this early? Quite surprised as i thought he would have been cast as the season´s villain, tbh. But i guess not. Was looking forward to the battle between Joe and Vince and now it kind of fell flat and ended abruptly.

Would have liked Nina or Will go before Vince, but i guess this will do good. Vince was too paranoid, jealous and arrogant to last. Not to mention a colossal ****. He just made too much mistakes (calling Joe out in the open and talking smack about Will, his own alliance member to name a few) and rubbed the tribe in the wrong direction and deserved to go. And he played too hard too fast like many others before him.

Will be interesting to see who takes Vince´s place now as the villain of the show.

P.S Nina did a dumb thing when telling Will about what Vince had said. Equally dumb was Will basically giving up a place in a top 2 spot of an alliance of three, to a bottom spot in a alliance of 4, when voting out Vince.

I'm not a big fan of Hali, Joe or Jenn. Joe has this smug entitlement hidden with humble likeability about him, and I don't like how Hali & Jenn treated Nina :nono:

The white collar tribe are fine except Max, I hope he's a pre-merge boot. And from the blue tribe I really hope Rodney goes sooner rather than later. I can deal with Dan's moron tendencies because they're fairly amusing, but Rodney is just a quick-tempered weirdo.

My favourites so far are Carolyn, Nina & Shirin :love: although this will probably change as the show goes on.

See, I don't think the trio of Joe, Jenn, and Hali are that bad. I think they look worse, because they happen to be the three young/cute ones that grouped up and Jenn seems to be really immature. I mean could Joe really have reacted any differently to Vince? He answered the crazy man in a calm manner. AndHali did actually try to include Nina, even if they both struggled.

Now Jenn definitely looked like a bitch for making fun of Nina and completely disregarding the way that she felt. Even if you didn't mean to isolate the deaf 50 year old, the deaf 50 year old feels isolated and yeah it might have to do with the fact that she's deaf and your not, so maybe help her out a bit.

I also think that casting wise... there aren't looking for people to cast that we will love any more... they cast for villains and people we love to hate. Nobody wants to see a good guy apparently.

This season is watchable (most seasons are though so that doesn't say much) but I rly don't like anyone that much at all. All of the tribes have some pretty gross people on them, and it was tough to get invested in Blue Collar because Lindsey is annoying and a huge bitch, Rodney blows, Dan proved to be a sexist 2nite, and then the other three are whatever. Whatever, I'm not that devastated about Lindsey's loss because I still don't like her but she was obviously the force of good (well, not bad) 2nite.

Also, apparently Probst hyped this up as one of the best episodes of the season, which lol? It was generic and nothing extraordinary. Oh well, not surprising that Probst's favorite episode was when two sexist males joined together to take out an irritating female.

Was great to see Lindsey aka face tat get the boot yesterday, annoying twit. Although Rodney´s boot would have been a satisfying event also. For the BC tribe it would have been much advantageous to boot Rodney than Lindsey, since doing so they would have had 2 loyal tribe members instead of one alienated one in Sierra. The blaming tirade towards her from Dan and co. was very stupid also.

In terms of Max´s boot, he got too cocky and sure of himself. Him and Shirin alienated themselves from their time by spending so much time together and they put too much trust to Carolyn and had no idea that Carolyn has wanted the two of them gone/split up all this time. Carolyn hated them and saw them as gruesome twosome and especially Max as big threat. Now with the tribe change, Carolyn saw an opportunity and seized it by using the NC´s and Kellie to turn on his former tribe mates and possibly continue with them going forward.

That was a pretty drab double-episode.

Rodney & Dan are revolting, and I hate how Kelly and Mike teamed with them instead of Lindsey & Sierra. Granted, Lindsay was annoying and I was getting sick of her constant shrieking during challenges, but I would have been 100X more satisfied with Rodney leaving.

The tribal swap is pretty hilarious, I literally have no idea how the dynamics are going to work out until merge. :joker: I really hope red tribe end up winning at least one immunity challenge, which results in either Dan or Rodney leaving.

I said last week that I hope Max is a pre-merge boot but I actually warmed to him. I loved his random knowledge regarding starsigns/survivor winners :joker: and him and Shirin made a funny duo.

My favourites rn are Carolyn, Shirin & Sierra :love: on the flipside Dan, Jenn, Rodney & Will all suck. Everyone else I'm pretty indifferent towards.

This season is too mean-spirited to enjoy. Everyone is either a disgusting human being or lacks a personality/is ignored because they are a woman. The Blue Collar tribe are a bunch of redneck misogynists (Lindsey was their only hope). No Collar is boring sans Jenn who we don't get to see near as much as we should because she happens to have a vagina, and even she sucks for the way she and the rest of the entitled no collar brats bullied Nina for her disability. White Collar is the only interesting and potentially not awful people left, but they don't show Carolyn despite having an idol because of that pesky vagina of hers, Tyler hasn't given off any hints of a personality, and Shirin kills bunnies for sport :sad: The awful Samoa/Caramoan/SJDS etc editing style has also returned, framing the show around a couple of obnoxious camera ***** men, ignoring the women except for when they have to briefly include them to help explain the men's storylines (see Sierra this season).

I'm sick of the Rodney and Mike douching hour we get every week, but Jeff did hype this season up so I guess this was to be expected.

I missed the first 10 or 15 minutes but started watching right when Mike decided to call out the alliance of four. It was really interesting seeing such a gamebot like Mike, put himself in the minority alliance with a **** up like that.

The Shirin bashing was really hard to watch, poor girl. Especially when Rodney decided to jump in, like Will was already thoroughly destroying her and Rodney's 'uhr-uhr' manner of speaking doesn't translate well into arguments. If Shirin isn't gonna turn the game around at some point and win the whole thing, the producers must be setting her up to come back for second chances, cause damn she's getting a lot of really good backstory. I could see her doing it too, cause I would imagine she has a pretty good shot at getting the three NC votes that are already on the jury if Mike isn't with her at FTC. She'd just need two more votes and with her, I don't want to call it a performance but for lack of a better word, performance at tribal, she set up the ground work to pick up a few more votes if she can start making some moves. Either way, Will and Rodney are dicks and I'm glad that got shown this week.

Sucks that Dan didn't flip, but maybe he knows that with Jenn gone, his chances are better if him and Sierra flip next week and use his extra vote? It's probably way to much credit to give him, but if he uses his extra vote next week he could ride to the final 4 or 5 with Mike, Sierra, and Shirin and then convince the two girls to get Mike out because he is such a threat. Those two moves would probably secure him the win against Sierra and Shirin, whereas if he flipped this week, he'd have to count on Mike not taking Jenn and Shirin to the end. But I'm definitely not rooting for a Dan win.

Well, Jenn is now gone, but after seeing the episode, i´m not that overly excited about it.

Will showed what a horrible man he is, i don´t blame Shirn at all for raising her hand. Rodney just s*cks and is a aggressive meat head, Dan is just so unbelievably stupid, it´s mindboggling. Sierra is a disappointment. Sierra and Dan will learn to regret their decision, when they realise that there was indeed a foursome core in the alliance.

Mike did made a mistake in the auction and alienated Dan and Sierra with the letter stuff. He did try to rectify his mistake at the camp when exposing Tyler, Dan, Rodney and Carolyn, but did not work and they probably trusted him even less after that.
He still has that immunity necklace, but it´s only a temporary safety. Hopefully he wins tomorrow, so maybe he can protect him and Shirin at the same time on the tribal.

anyway, this season is complete garbage and I'm so glad that it's coming to an end tonight. In terms of the cast, this is like Gabon or even a BBUK6 where the cast is full of awful assholes, but unlike Gabon and BBUK6 there's no humor or comedy to go with it (which I guess makes it BBUK15 then? eek.) It's just been a really dark and dreary season with a complete **** boot order. Like, once Shirin was gone that had to be the least likable final seven ever, right? Also in terms of gameplay, it's like a reverse Panama where the gigantic alliance is full of assholes and the one person riding solo is the rootable one. Also also, it's been a ridiculously predictable season in terms of editing. Mike's win has been clear from the swap at latest, so it's just been really tedious to watch knowing that he's the only one with a semblance of a winner's edit.

The only thing good about this season was that it cemented San Juan del Sur as a true classic. Remember six months ago when this was our funale?
