Most importantly... if you use it, it doesn't say on your Facebook or something that you are using it does it? I don't want to be that BB nut that people on Facebook see me always voting for stuff :p

The official Channel 5 Big Brother app is now available to download for both iOS and Android.



Channel 5 came under fire last year for the app which is only available on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices.

A newly updated version of the Big Brother app is now available for both iOS AND Android devices.

The new CBB app also features elements that represent this year’s new fairy tale theme.

Like last year, as well as providing the latest official news and video from the house, the app will allow viewers to vote in the evictions (for a price) and take part in free polls that will decide the course of the series.

“It’s the viewers show and the fans are very vocal about the fact they don’t want it to be manipulated from the inside so anything like an app that gives them a vote is a great thing,” host Emma Willis said this year ahead of the new series.

She added: “The viewers need to get to have a say about their show so I’m all for it. More power to the public!”

There is no official Big Brother app for Windows Phones (yet) but an unofficial fan app is available to download.

It doesn’t include the polls and voting as the official app but does provide all of the latest news and video clips.
