Yes, but back then the show had its popularity and large TV/newspaper/magazine/radio coverage. Nowadays, this is all it gets so the people who knock the show get the impression of the show from solely stuff like this.

The thing is - last year with Steven and Kimberly was the most graphic and blatant the show has been, certainly since BB6. The daily star would have the general public believe that it's a daily occurance on the show whilst to the BB fans, the Steven and Kimberly thing was actually quite shocking in terms of what they were actually doing.
