FFS LOL

So 6000 people complained about a reality tv show yet only 205 people complained when Sky News reporter Colin Brazier sifted through the luggage of one of the dead passengers on board the MH17 plane that was lost earlier this year.

BB was actually the lowest rated out of the whole top 10 so its sad to see that the people complaining are the core "fan" base.

Seriously where do these people morals lay?

Heres the top 10 most complained about shows this year

1Big Brother - Channel 5 - 3,784 complaints

2Celebrity Big Brother - Channel 5 - 1,874 complaints

3Cutting Edge: Going to the Dogs - Channel 4 - 1,805 complaints

4Benefits Street - Channel 4 - 967 complaints

5Coronation Street - ITV - 367 complaints

6The X Factor - ITV - 360 complaints

7EastEnders - BBC 1 - 316 complaints

8Emmerdale - ITV - 243 complaints

9Sky News (20/07/14) - 205 complaints

10Channel 4 News - 193 complaints

BB could have a series where everyone just sit there in silence on the sofa for 70 days and still garner up the highest complaints of the year. So, nothing to really fuss over.

But yep, it's rather pathetic. Maybe in school, there should be a lesson called "OFCOM" where you learn when to complain and when not to.

The sheer volume of complaints weighs heavy in favour of the fact that the way BB is heading favours only those among us that no longer cherish family views, moral values and sheer decency. The programmes ethos has been overlooked in favour of the instillation of numerous numpties and slappers known as reality stars, when in reality, they are just a bunch of charlatans and wanabees.

Ofcom was set up to govern the side of TV we mere mortals have no control over and if decency is broken, then so be it, retribution should befall those that break those rules with impunity. Sadly there is a section of the GBP that is in its ascendancy that beholds the morals of what we can only describe as uncivil decency.

I for one agree that OFCOM has its place in society, even though they seem to be a little over the top sometimes, but we need them to keep a level of normality that governs the very fabric of our society. Judging by the way the shows fan behave, I fear that the morality brigade seems to be in the minority these days but we must soldier on and not let the dumbdown pirates get all their own way.

Am I right in saying though that every single one of those complaints about BB effectively got thrown in the bin? OFCOM didn't have a word to say about BB this year :joker:

Are you joking? Kinga fingered herself with a wine bottle and it got hardly any complaints. This isn't a "sign of the times" or whatever. Its people becoming overly PC and complaining even though they don't feel offended, they complain on behalf of others that they think may take offense to some of the behaviour.

The complaints were about Helen Wood btw who was your fav housemate from BB15.

Am I the only one in thinking that these people aren't actually offended but its kind of become a tradition to complain ever since ShilpaGate?

Ofcom is there for a reason and im sorry but 6000 complaints???? LOL! 6000 when elsewhere a Sky News reporter rummaged through a dead persons belongings on live tv and it was only complained about by a few hundred.

People need to separate TV from reality and just enjoy the ****ing show.

#****edUpMorals.

Your post about Ofcom must be there to govern the very fabric of society? WHAT THE ACTUAL ****?!
