I know it isn't great but I'm new to this so please suggest improvements. This is Ultimate Big Brother: Hell in a House where 20 returning housemates battle it out one last time. Here I have the first 3 promos.

Did you use paint for the eye? To me this is either very rushed, or this is some kind of joke?if you really wanted to do something like this, I would have expected that someone would put more effort into something like this.
He is my opinion on what you HAVE done!
The eye to me is very unprofessional, and I wouldn't see that on TV
The background is to 'fake' for my liking and the pictures of Dylan and Emma really do look like they have been photoshopped into the picture
Overall I would give a 4/10 rating from what I have seen so far

No, I didn't use paint. It's not rushed or a joke, I spent hours on it. I put loads of effort in. I'm gonna correct the errors and improve now, hopefully the live up to the forums standards.

I have redone it, it's isnt as bad as the other one but it is the best I could do, I will do the singular promo pictures now.

oh dear..
It looks like you used paint, half of the cut outs (e.g emma and rylan, the c5 logo) have beens missing from them from someone cutting them out by hand
This hasn't taken you hours, If it has, i'm worried.
Basically- Practice, get photoshop and produce something good before uploading it.

It took me an hour for the first one 10 minutes for the other 2 as I just had to rearrange. I didn't even used paint. For the cut outs I used an app called erase and for the rest I used a PowerPoint tool (It was the right size and to arrange things) and a crop and edit tool for the finishing touches. Have you got anything I could take inspiration from?

I did before I joined, they're all so good and I don think I could get mine up to scratch. It's a shame though, I was enjoying but now I'm not. Not because of you but because of just needing to add extra effort. I'm nearly 15, well, in July.

I have re-redone the designs a bit more proffessionally. The only thing is the eye which I struggled on so I used an old eye for now and the border of it isn't great but I tried to do it a bit more proffessionally but this is the best I can come up with until I get better equip teen and tools. I have 3 promos, a vote to evict and a vote to win.

No. You used the exact same methods as you did yesterday; The only reasonable thing on here is the on screen graphics but they are extremely bland. Spend some time on it, not a few minutes, or hours, but a few days improving before we see you again. Compare it to others- ask yourself 'is this satisfactory?' 'Is this good?' Before you post it.

I'm doing the house currently, when finished I'll have a look around. It is minecraft but it's looking good at the mo. After looking I'll make improvements and then possibly post that then do the promos. It'll be after tomorrow for definite.

Okay, it's very very basic and very poorly made. Considering you're only just starting people should cut you a little bit of slack. I've been doing designs for Big Brother for a long time and here is what I come up with... You asked for inspiration, here's some:

You just need to take a step back and think out a clear theme and idea before attempting to throw anything together.

..tbh ProfessorSmooth, I'm totally awful at stuff like this so am no judge at all on technical skills etc...but I would say that because you want to be better and because it means so much to you to want to do this well...I believe that you will because you already have what is needed most to do so...and that's something that isn't found in any computer programme..(although I'm sure that helps a bit..:laugh:..)...but you already have the most important 'skill'/your determination in wanting to do better...just don't give up, yeah...
