CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER bosses have signed up former Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson on a £100,000 deal.
The actor played Hobie Buchannon, the son of David Hasselhoff’s character, in the American series but has recently become known for his troubled personal life.
Jeremy was arrested in 2000 in a police drugs raid for manufacturing methamphetamines and has also admitted to a steroid addiction.
He has been in rehab five times but says he has now been clean since 2000, despite an appearance on US reality show Celebrity Rehab in 2011 for addiction to hormone injections and an obsession with fitness.
Jeremy, who used to date former Page 3 model Leilani Dowding, also had a sex tape with US adult star Sky Lopez leaked in 2008.
There was further trouble for the actor in July this year when he was involved in a brawl at Paris Hilton’s Malibu beach house, where Jeremy was allegedly struck over the head with a vodka bottle by previous CBB star Jasmine Waltz.
And last September Jeremy, who beat Leonardo DiCaprio to his Baywatch role, was reportedly involved in a domestic disturbance with model wife Lonnie Wilkinson, who he married in 2012. An insider said: “Jeremy brings with him star power from his days on Baywatch but has also had a complicated life since then and is sure to be a fascinating housemate.”
CBB has previously had success with troubled American stars, with actor Gary Busey winning the show last summer.
Others due to enter the new series of the Channel 5 show on January 7 include Sun columnist Katie Hopkins, telly presenter Keith Chegwin and playboy Calum Best.
Despite being signed up for the show, there are concerns Jeremy’s previous arrest may hinder his trip to the UK.
A source said: “Jeremy is hoping his criminal past won’t affect him going into the house.
“But if there is an issue, bosses have told him they want him for the summer series instead.”

well ok...
As long as he is better than Bach, which shouldn't be difficult. I remember when they hyped her up and the world thought we were actually getting Anderson. Good times.

That was quite fun, I did like her, just she wasn't very famous.

The Americans prove time and time again that they are the best housemates, and one just won, so...
Whilst I agree to a degree at your point.
There has also been a fair share of mind-numbingly dull American housemates.
For instance, CBB14's Stephanie and Leslie, I found to be vile and unlikeable in a un-entertaining way, and I'm pretty sure the majority agree, hence why they were voted out early.
Dustin Diamond and Evander Holyfield were just beyond tedious, making BB15's Pav seem like Janice Dickinson in comparison.
Frankly C5 should've just rejected them, and gave the money to charity. At least something beneficial would of come out.

It's true, unless she cancels some dates (which i high doubt she can) then she can't make the cut.

Oh no, I agree that there has been a lot of duds as well, but the majority of my top 10 CBB housemates, would likely be American.

To be fair the terms say line up is subject to change, but yes I doubt she's in.

He ain't actually American..
But I am here for the American housemates all the way. The more the better
I'd be here for having four or five Americans as long as they were actually interesting, and not dull-as-hell-without-scripts reality stars that they threw money at (oh hai Stephanie Pratt)
Lostie!

I really liked Pamela, but I always warm to the eccentric housemates. :)
