Developed a kidney infection over night, was very painful until this afternoon, been to the doctors and have antibiotics. Which of course means no drinking at new year, or the work's Christmas do... :bawling::laugh:

lol, I don't drink really, NYE and the Christmas party are the exceptions, I'm not really that bothered about it, it's just funny that it happened now  the thing that bothers me more is the intense pain in my lower back.

The back pain has died down a lot, can still feel it a little bit though, but I am able to sit comfortabe enough now. Doctor said I should start properly recovering tommorow night, so it looks like I'm spending NYE in bed, lol. Perhaps I can finally watch some of the DVDs I got for Christmas.

Thanks for the get well wishes! :spin:

..really sorry to hear this Chewy, the anti-biotics should kick in quite quickly with the pain/infection but these things are quite nasty so your body may take a little time to recover...be well soon and take care......

I've heard that passing them is more painful than childbirth :worry: My prayers are with you xo

Scarlett.

I didn't pass them though, I had a stent, don't google that. To put it nicely, they put a tube up where no tube should ever go.

This is one of my biggest fears along with getting molested by mr Blobby.

You have my sympathies man, is it all sorted now because of the tube or is there still some residual pain?

I had the stent removed about and hour ago, it was horrific, seriously the most disturbing thing I have ever been through. But it's over, it's finally over.
