Channel 5 has further extended the advertising campaign for Celebrity Big Brother 2015 by running a radio advert featuring the show’s narrator Marcus Bentley.

The commercial – which is airing on national commercial stations Heart and Capital FM – sees Bentley tease the new ‘twisted fairytale’ theme over the faint sound of barking dogs.

“Are you sitting comfortably? Then we’ll begin,” says the iconic Geordie voice. “Celebrity Big Brother starts next Wednesday at 9 on Channel 5.”

Channel 5 has begun running a poster advertisement campaign for Celebrity Big Brother 2015 ahead of the show’s return next week.

The simple billboards – which have been spotted on bus stops around the country – feature the new eye logo in a web of thorns, alongside transmission details for the launch special.

They mark the first time C5 has bought outdoor advertising space for Big Brother since the eleventh Celebrity run in January 2013.

hype is a marketing tool used to get viewers to tune in. The reality is always disappointing but the viewers generally stay just to see what happens. Without the hype, the figures wouldn't stack up. Naturally they are going to over hype it like they always do. I am prepared to be disappointed and I probably will be. We will see.
