Marcus tweeted Katy Hopkins was a guinea pig on the first ever Big Brother !

KATIE Hopkins may be the biggest character to have sauntered into the Celebrity Big Brother house last night but it’s emerged it’s not her first time in the famous abode

BB narrator Marcus Bentley has revealed that the rent-a-gob was once a housemate in a test run before the very first series of Big Brother aired in 2000.

During Wednesday night’s live launch, he tweeted: “Katy Hopkins was a guinea pig on the first ever Big Brother ! [sic]”


Katie – who has also appeared on The Apprentice and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! before becoming the controversial mouthpiece she is now – failed to mention her previous stint in the house as she chatted to host Emma Willis before entering last night.

The revelation left fans unsurprised, with one tweeting: “Fame hungry then. Try her luck at any show until she got her face on TV.”

Another added: “So that's how desperate she is for fame.”
However, Katie’s odds to win the show have been slashed from 14/1 to 13/2 after she was set a secret mission on last night’s show.

She now stands at the third favourite to win behind TV presenter Keith Chegwin and Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha.

It still remains to be seen if Katie will pass her task which involves being nice to all the housemates.

Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 5.

No, but a selection of the guinea pigs can sometimes get selected to be on the actual show. So she has been trying for some time.

That's like saying mods have always been power hungry for their whole life just because they are in a higher position than other forum members and have more powers or w/e :shrug:

Katie has been given these reality opportunities and she has taken them. Good on her I say :clap1:
