BB has always Banned this reason so why now accept it?

BB has always Banned this reason so why now except it?

I think you mean accept it - its totally pathetic using this as a reason - a complete cop out !

It is a total cop-out excuse.

It really shouldn't be.

I mean, sure, as a viewer it's a bit boring and predictable, but let's face it: if you were in the house and had any semblance of a gameplan and wanted to keep quiet and not make yourself an outspoken threat in face-to-face nominations, you would obviously go for easy reasons like this.

Not to mention that it's far more irritating watching housemates say "I want to leave" all the time. Just do it.

Plus I'm a bit more aggrieved by Alicia's "I thought he'd be the most safe" reason re: Calum. That's way more of a cop-out (even if it could have resulted in deadwood like Calum being up )

I was sure they would get into trouble for using that as a reason.

But I suppose they were short for time and just wanted get things done efficiently.

I suppose with only one up im more annoyed than 2 or more housemates up. With just one housemate up even though Chloe and Alexander are up already its like oh nominate ken hes the oldest and said he wants to go. If there was say ken and one or two more I wouldn't mind as much. Think that makes sense

Some of the excuses for nominating Ken were indeed a cop out - because he said he wanted to leave. I have said many times during previous series of CBB (and Civilian BB) that the nominations should take place in the Diary Room and then do them face to face based on who they nominated in Diary Room and their reasons - I bet there would have been a few different choices of HMs they would have nominated.

I thought the same. Was sure they were gonna say those were invalid reasons and make them re-do those noms but....no,They just let it slide.Pathetic.

Big Brother should be tougher, I mean they could have nominated Jeremy because of his toilet habits

I like that idea!

Maybe get the housemates to nominate during the daytime (so they don't suspect anything) then in the evening Big Brother can go around the group and say something like "Nadia, please stand up. You have nominated Katie, please explain your reasons for this nomination". If they try to say a reason completely different to what they said in the diary room then they can be punished.

I still don't know what was the point in having nominations anyway? Couldn't they just stick with 2 people?

It's such a cop-out reason to nominate somebody, I'm sure they are all capable of thinking of something that has maybe irritated them or rubbed them up the wrong way but they don't have the courage to say it for some bizarre reason.

very lame reason

I thought maybe the producers were going to see if everyone was going to nominate Katie, and then if that happened they would reveal her task on launch and give her some kind of ultimatum or challenge or choice that offered her a pass to the final or to go up for eviction herself.

The producers definitely want to keep Katie in, and the whole thing with Emma saying there would be a twist on Friday, Marcus saying there would be a twist and the odd extra 15 minutes left on the nomination shown all adds up as pretty fishy to me.

I definitely think there was something planned surrounding Katie and it didn't work out.

Brilliant idea. It would also show up who's all talk and no do.

I thought that reason was a total cop out and that so many used the same reasons, there has obviously been nominations talk already and I fully expected BB to act on and punish some of them, but no?. Trouble is it made not an iota of difference so a waste of time nominating at all as it will still be between the other to as to who gets evicted first, plus none of them were bothered about face to face nominating.
