:clap1: it's about time the prize fund got increased, though they could've bumped it up to £200,000.

This actually really excites me (although worries me as I hate money themed twists and I have a feeling the series will have a lot to do with money if the prize money is being increased).

Oooo wonder if this is a sign of budget increases.

They should really have it at 250k though. It's a far more appealing prize fund plus they can advertise it as a quarter of a million pounds which sounds impressive too. But £150k is a good prize, glad they've put it higher.

Well this is good news, although I do agree £250k would've been ideal. Or even 200. But still, an increase is better than nothing.

Now to make the money the focal point and trial elements of the you know what format ;)

(I now expect a complete bore or someone who'll spend it all on a nose job will win, well done everyone)

I love it. Maybe it shows that they will put as much money/effort into civilian as cbb.

They'll end up doing a twist which affects the prize fund!

I can see a money twist for the series then, which I wouldn't mind unless it doesn't effect noms

This is only a good move if Katie wins.

I agree. The final week will probably have some kind of twist which involves them losing 50k or something.

Hopefully not. Maybe even gain another 50K so the total could be 200K. I don't mind a money twist. As long as the winner takes away at least 100K.
