I am absolutely sickened by big brothers episode this evening. If u can remove Jeremey from the house u should have also removed ken who i found to b highly offensive. I found what ken did was more repugnant, diabolical and atrocious then Jeremy. And as far as chole is concerned acting so hysterical than to proceed to let us know "i know i done page three and stuff BUT..." the way she quickly was able to get her **** together once the whole situation blew up.
She is an actress... after all.
I am a woman and i do not for one moment accept men groping or feeling up women. However she played that situation up, over and beyond. I cant stress how disgusted i am.
I have been a fan of big brother from day one, the days of Darren and nasty Nick however over the years bb has become so manipulative besides other reason i dont have the time to stress. I have therefore boycotted it for the past 2-3 yrs and watched the celebrity one less than a handful of times. The last bb i watched was in 2012. I wasnt going to watch this one until I saw katie hopkins was a contestant ( not a fan of hers), in order to watch the bull****. And it hasnt taken long for the bull**** to immerse. Kens words are reprehensible in comparison to Jeremy's action.
I have never in all of my life taken the time to register sign up to a forum especially big brother to have my say. But this just took the ultimate piss. Bb u have really out done yourself ur priorities R jacked up.
So to finish my say and the whole reason as to why i had to post here....
Ken insulted black ppl by using the word negro and continuing to call a black child a pickaninny
"From the days of slavery. The slave owners would "pick a nincompoop" from the lineup of slaves; or the slave children who couldn't pick cotton "ain't pickaninny"; in some parts of the south, breasts are referred to as ninnys, so pickaninny was a reference to blacks being used as wetnurses. It is morally revolting.
Just for ur plain ignorance!!! If Bb understood or gave a **** to the struggles that our ancestors had to fight and we as a people continue to fight subliminally, directly and indirectly he would be gone let alone the other bull**** that came out of his mouth only to b slapped with a "warning". R u having a ****ing laugh... u must b!!!!! Its an absolute abomination. At first i was like how dare u ken but as the episode continued to unfold its how dare u Big Brother. I guess the ones at the top are still wearing their glory suits....

I think you (and several others) need to have a think about how much integrity you're willing to lose for a little bit of controversy. Your lack of compassion for victims of racism and your lack of understanding as to how much of a big deal this is, it's shocking and repulsive.

The part of your statement I agree with is that Ken should have been thrown out. I am also a woman and if a guy tried to grope me I would also have been upset and tearful. I JUST cannot understand why people think that Chloe was acting up. Some women would have slapped his hand way there may even be others who might have given him a knee in the nether regions. Chloe was not OKAY with him doing it. She was in the toilet with some of the other girls trying to help the guy FFS.
I too am very very sickened by last nights episode but I am even MORE sickened by many forum members (a lot of them also women) saying that Chloe acted it up, over dramatized it, played to the cameras etc etc etc. WHY OH WHY is the woman often more blamed for an incident that she didn't instigate.

this is why we will never forget and we will never come together as a human race plainly because of ppls ignorance. It was extremely racist. Unfortunately in England we are not taught anything of black history in the skool curriculum. This is purposely done. Keep ur mind entrapped.
Ignorance breeds ignorance. If u had the level of understanding or brain capacity to fathom the impact of kens words. U say wot u say because u r uninformed to the degree or magnitude of his words. Theres plenty of reasons those words are sensored. Do ur research before u can make a valid point or fact.

ive just watched it. hmmm i can see both sides with the jeremy thing, yes what he did was wrong, but i dont think he meant it that way, the guy was drunk and vomiting, she was in the small confines of the toilet with him with just a bathrobe on, he didnt know she was naked underneath, still no excuse for opening her robe though, but i dont think he meant it that way. why perez said he didnt feel safe with him in the house though i have no idea. shud jeremy have been kicked out? well yes i dont really think they had any other choice. then on the other hand theres the horrible vulgar, racist, sexist nasty perveted old man making racist comment to the lovely alexndra o neal, sexual comments to michelle who im loving and basically perving on all the young girls, just gets a warning, how the hell is he not being kicked out? jade goody got kicked out for less. get him out hes vile

Hi i appreciate u takin the time to read my post. However if more women are havin their say on chloe i guess there mayb some validity as to why. I am never a woman to attack another woman degrade her or put her down. But this behaviour jus completely shocked me. I am not here to bash chloe. I do however have empathy for women and have a degree of understanding to women whom have been in real serious imminent situations and been left traumatized. But this was not trauma this was drama she new exactly how to dress it up literally. Good for her she got wot she wanted out of it. But its disgraceful to watch as a WOMAN.

Sorry dat u feel dat way however i am passionate in what i stand for and know to b facts i stand behind truth and i despise injustice....
words are can b jus as impactfull as an act. We as a ppl continue to have to push boundaries based on the past. The past has defined our makeup and in the present day it is still very clear the level of ignorance that still exist in todays modern society. As for manhandling he did not manhandle u r takin THAT too far to call it assault like really. I sympathise and have empathy for women who have been in serious situations. It shouldn't take a made up brigade to make people see how offensive and appaulling it is to use the words that Ken and his like are using, they're disgraceful and anyone who uses them or condones the use of them should be ashamed.
It's got nothing to do with the 'pc brigade' or the 'morality crusaders' it's common decency to try and be as nice human being, instead of racists and bigots.

And this was certainly not one of those situations This however was pure unnecessary drama.
No it wasn't a 'serious' situation but an unacceptable one. It was a stupid judgement of Jeremy but his misjudgement was physical. What Ken said was equally ignorant and without thought but it wasn't malicious and was not meant to offend.... Alexander handled it superbly...perhaps others should deal with it in the same manner instead of jumping on the 'Racist' bandwagon.

And as far as chole is concerned acting so hysterical than to proceed to let us know "i know i done page three and stuff BUT..." the way she quickly was able to get her **** together once the whole situation blew up.
She is an actress... after all.
What is that supposed to mean? Are you saying that she wasn't as affected by it than she was making out? Unless you've experienced something like that then I suggest you shut your mouth. :nono:

Alexander is 61 I bet he's had to deal with such comments for over 50 years.

for ur info u shld shut urs before throwing ur own accusations at me. As i have. If u read on for ur simple minded self u will see i clearly state i do not advocate for groping fondelling touching a woman inappropriately. I stress again i empathize and know an understand the magnitude of these kind of situations that r serious and traumatizing however yes i will say chloe is an actress and she took it to the bank.
Period. Her body language wot she actually says utter bs

Nah, IMO she took it rather well than what a lot of people would. I don't think she was acting. I, myself have went through sexual assault and acted way more over the top than her and after was able to carry on with life as if it never happened. People obviously react differently so you have no right to say it was all an act. :yuk:

It's not racist because he got away with saying it as a child. Okay Adam.
My best mate is black when I told her she said that's nothing to shout about we have been called worse over the years it would not offend her.

TBH it wouldn't offend 99% of the black community. It only offends when you want it to. Im Irish and have been called everything from Paddy to potato muncher and I just laugh it off. However if I was in a competition and I knew it was laid on me to wind me up, I guess I would make an issue of it just to level the playing field. Alex thought Ken was getting a bit too big for his boots so he used the race card to shut him up.
Ken wasn't nasty and Alex wasn't upset, it is however food and fodder for forums and I guess perceptions will differ depending on peoples ideals, morals and agenda.

uniformed individual... whether or not alex was upset or not he put ken in his place. He cld have sed nothing however that word did not sit right with him hence his response. Alex jus did so in a diplomatic way.
i dont understand wen white ppl say ive been a victim of racism. Its tragic.
There is no comparison. Blk ppl do not throw the race card willing unless valid to do so. Why on earth wld u want to make reference to a time dat was so barbaric in the actions of others to a race. U wldnt understand clearly because of lack of information. And yes u are totally correct on one thing it is based on ones perception and morals. #ignorance

Sickened and outraged?
you know that long thing, usually black, with lots of buttons on it?
One of them is the OFF switch, it should have OFF written on it but if not it will have a universal symbol for OFF
Now if you dont mind, while the rest of us enjoy the show, .... OFF

He wasnt racist he said what he used to be able to say as a child he wasnt malicious with it
Im sorry but I dont agree.
He is not decrepid or suffering from Alzheimers or any form of Dementia, therefore he is well aware (unless he's been living in a mountain cave for the last 50 years) that this kind of language is not acceptable and never has been in our lifetime, no matter how many people used it in the 60's & 70's
We are no longer ignorant enough to think that terms used by Slave Masters are an acceptable way to reference a black person, and neither is Ken.
He seems to be on a crusade against political correctness, something I hate, but using slave terms against a black housemate, is not politically INcorrect, its ignorant and intentionally nasty
Do I think he should have been thrown out for saying it, part of me does, but I also loved the way Alexander handled it, he brought him down to the size of the man he really is, that was good TV!

Are you trying to argue that any N word is more unoffensive than it is offensive. Doubt it cos that would make you a complete idiot.
Its not a case of getting away with it, when he was young there was no PC brigade,no one told you what words could or couldn't be said ( and neither should they nowadays, but they do)I know that over the years, names we call people have changed, when I left school I worked in a decorating shop and we sold "N****r brown" paint
Have you made a conclusion as to whether this is a correct or incorrect thing to promote?
..if age were to be used as a reason and excuse for what he said then Alexander is of a similar age so he would have just accepted that coming from Ken, it was ok but he didn't because he knew it was wrongs so he rightly told him so...how is it that older black people know when something is offensive and wrong but some older white people don't....
..I mean I've never heard an older black person say..well, I'll refer to myself as a negro because that's what I was called as a child...
