Was BB right to remove Ken?

Firewire

absolutely

Jake.

Yep, he used a term he had previously been warned about (and let's not forget his disgusting attitude towards women)

depends if you like dancing round conker trees bigging up all your mates that constantly complain on behalf of things that don't concern them personally but feel they need to be aired because they want to feel pc.

Yes, he hasn't done himself any good in the house and he was just obviously going to disregard any direction or warnings from BB.
Having said that, how he controlled his temper while on the bike with Nadia virtually harrassing him is beyond me.

I would have had to yell at her to shut up and clear off.
I wonder who she will now turn on since she seems intent on having housemates thrown out,it will be the only way she can win it I guess.

Her saying,''Phone the Police'', who on earth does she think she is.
yes, however, Ken had to go and in fact I think he was glad to go too.

I wasn't thinking so towards the end, if it was for him saying he likes arse then it's a bit pathetic. I'd be arrested every time I go to Asda for that. But the last comment warranted it.

Without a doubt.

I personally don't think he meant the 'negro' comment nastily... I don't think he should have been removed for that, but he should have been removed for his comments about the women... He's just plain creepy.

100% right to get rid of him.

MTVN

It was stupid of him to use that word again but wasn't he quoting someone this time, not actually using it himself. He looked genuinely shocked when BB told him he'd used racist language again. I think another warning might have sufficed.

Yes. Boring twat.

Definitely.

He repeated the same word he was warned for previously

No, he shouldn't have been removed, There wasn't an ounce of racial hate, ridicule or anything else in his voice when he said it. He was talking about Frank B in affectionate terms. This is taking PC to stupid levels. I was much more offended by the way Nadia and the girls bullied an old man

Cherie
12-01-2015, 09:26 PM
Yeah I don't think they had a choice, however as the convo was between him and Keith it could have been ignored, and the viewers would be none the wiser, but I feel once again as in the Jeremy situation the DR door was practically off its hinges with people going in to complain so they took settled for a quite life.

Good god they were horrid. Just finished watching on +1

I felt a bit bad for him tonight actually, in parts. When that Nadia was talking about him as if he wasn't there (I ALWAYS hate that) and when Perez suddenly decided he was a super ninja or something...

I do feel BB had no choice. However I feel the comments on tonights show weren't as bad as the ones to Alexander...

I also laughed my head off when Ken told Nadia how perfect the other girls arses were :D:D:D

Having heard Nadia just say she would have left if Ken had been there much longer I am even more convinced that BB should have kept him in

I thought that Ken was a funny Housemate, but I can definitely understand BB removing him as he just couldn't keep his mouth shut, plus the other Housemates was about to kill him if he lasted any longer.:joker:

I am sad to see him go but,Yes because he'd already been warned once about using that word.
I think he got what he wanted though.

Amy Jade
12-01-2015, 10:25 PM
I liked him and I would defend him using the word because in my mind there is no doubt he never meant to offend but he had been warned and he took no heed to the warning so yeah, he did deserve to go.

Yes, just because you are for eviction does not mean you have a licence to go to war on the house, face to face or not.

Ken has to take responsible to what he did in the house, he never did even when told by big brother to cool it.

Indeed-but i get the impression that bb were worried he would pull a jeremy and thats the reason he was booted-not for being "not pc" and big brother over reacting like some people like to believe on here.

Hi bb
i have to say i was absolutley incensed with ken morleys behaviour.
He is racist, sexist bigoted homophobic. This man should no better. The way he was with the young girls was disgusting. He used the excuse that he was drunk and couldnt remember what he had done. This was a cop out he couldnt take full responsibility for his behaviour.
Quite honestly he should never work on tv ever again.
If i was his wife i would be totally disgusted, embarrased to admit he was my husband. And i dont know if hes a father or not, but how would he feel if somebody treated his female family members the wy he totally disrespected the ladies.

I believe you have summed it up rather nicely and I agree with you. I was (am) a Ken fan and was rooting for him when the witch from Naria, the awful Nadia, kept pressing him to say something and wouldn't let go, But, alas, when Ken used the N word re Frank Bruno's music I thought he really has to go. I really do wish him well and hope that he will come to appreciate that the N word is very offensive,

Apart from his sexist comments to the girls, when he said: "What I need to get the ovens going is a nice big fat negro", that was absolutely disgusting, unfunny and derogatory.

I honestly could not believe it, that folk still talk that way in this day and age and think they can get away with it.

Who the ***** does he think he is and how the hell could anyone who isn't a racist themselves think that is in any way an acceptable way for one human being to talk to another.

..but then it really makes a mockery out of the warnings and saying what is unacceptable...ok, here's another warning because you disregarded the first one...come on now Ken, this is now the third time..etc...I think that's fine when it's more something that could be perceived as, which BB have often done but to tell him that his behaviour was unacceptable and then he totally ignores that, then I think that one warning was all that there should have been...
