With respect to his comments about the ladies, he was being controversial for the hell of it. The racist comments I think were phrases he has used many times as they flowed off the tongue easily. I still say they were not said with any ill intent, but he still said them.

I don't like how he was treated either, but if you are warned and choose to ignore it, you take the consequences.
