Emma Willis tipped to replace Dermot

Emma Willis has been tipped to replace Dermot O’Leary on The X Factor 2015.



Dermot admitted this week that he wasn’t sure about returning for another series, saying he as hoping for a new challenge.

With hunky host Dermot having hinted that he might soon be voting himself off the X Factor after eight years, bookies Paddy Power have been wondering who will fill the presenter’s shoes after 8 years of being a professional shoulder to cry on.

Currently fronting both Celeb Big Brother and The Voice UK, Emma Willis is the 5/1 favourite to take O’Leary’s place, followed by Kim’s famous sister Khloe Kardashian who hosted the US version.

After making her name on Strictly, X Factor boss Simon Cowell could be having a change of heart about Ms Flack and reinstate her at odds of 8/1.



Having been there when it all began on ‘Popstars’, Ant and Dec could be back at 18/1, or jungle hottie Jake Quickenden could be landing the gig at 20/1.

After having fired himself from ‘The Apprentice’, golden oldie Nick Hewer could be looking for work and is 100/1 to take up the helm.

Paddy Power said: “With Dermot hinting he’s done his last series, it looks like Emma’s going to be one with the X Factor come summer.”

Dermot showed himself to be a clever, witty and skilled presenter on BOTS, I loved him, but on Xfactor he only got to do little more than introduce contestants. Such a terrible waste of talent. I hope Emma doesn't follow in his footateps.

He may as well do ten series and the show is only contracted for two more years so I hope he carries on. So long as he walks and isn't pushed I guess it'll be okay.

I love Dermot so I hope he stays. I don't want EMMA to replace him as if she is doing too many shows it could be overkill. It happened to a presenter here that she was doing everything then she completely disappeared off our screens. IF Dermot is being replaced there is only one woman for it in my mind that's Caroline Flack, beautiful and smart she was the best host of Xtra factor and I would love it if she got the main show. I still would rather Dermot though

Imo, emma's probably a more suitable presenter than Davina & if emma had to leave bb (i dont think she will though) then bring back Davina!! & since davina hosted bb for 10 years, xf will really feel like c4 bb if shes on & i dont think producers would want that.

You do know this is the main x factor we're dealing with here, not the xtra factor? Like there gonna want him for the main show, he's too novelty.

I agree, he has made it his own.

However, Emma is doing a great job on The Voice and she would on paper seem the likeliest target to try to get for X Factor if Dermot really wants new challenges.

If she does X-Factor she will be gone from BB (the summer series would clash with auditions and judges houses).

I think she could do better than X-Factor tbh and Voice/BB don't tie her down too much.

Yeah, I thought one of these reason Dermot O'Leary quit BBLB was that it was too much work combining it with X Factor audition shows.
