A moody year for BB?

I think so for a number of reasons:

1. The housemates this year take themselves pretty seriously overall, always 'getting offended' and don't seem to ever have much of a laugh.
2. The Jeremy and Ken situations were pretty heavy right from the start.
3. The house decor looks more like a studio set than ever. Think of previous BB series such as Jim and Linda's year, or Vinnie Jones' year; much more homely. The more plush the setting, the more the HMs settle in and relax, the better the series becomes. Aaron and Jay's year was an example of a cold house producing a cold series.
4. The tasks have been a bit weak so far and have not brought the group together, nor have they split the cliques up in interesting ways like they have done in the past. The tasks just seem like limp versions of the same old same old.
5. BOTS!!! What's happened? It's like the life has been sucked out of it! There is so many things wrong with BOTS now.
a) No BOTP on saturday! That means no Iain Lee, no Dr Funke. I loved both of them, it was the funniest part of the week as well as giving a good in-depth psych breakdown of the HMs.
b) No naughty co-presenters. Luisa has been relegated to occasional guest. There is no Jamie East, no Alice Levine so all that extra insight and all those comical interviews/questions with HMs have now gone.
c) Where is Ian Symes? He was always a good soul with dry humour.
d) New rules on BOTS audience members. It's good in some ways to stop certain characters dominating each week but it feels flat out there now. As for Glasses Paul - he is BOTS royalty and is sorely missed!

I probably could go on (and on)..

Sadly i feel for the first time ever that BB could slide into cancellation soon as it just feels tired and a bit humourless right now. I hope that changes and the mood picks up soon.

It's got a long way to go to beat BB6 and BB13 as the nastiest, but it's on it's way

Nasty has it's plus points for sure but it needs balancing with comedy, especially from BOTS

I think it does have comedy, I'm finding it hilarious

It's a good series so far, just about balancing on a tightrope, and that's how you want it.

It has become quite nasty, they are very comfortable with conflict as that barrier fell down pretty much straight away. Perez, Chloe and Cami, Katie and Nadia are the fire starters.
