The editing this series..

I don't know if it's because the series so far has been hugely concentrating on the drama between housemates, but it almost feels like this is CBB 4.5 (nowhere near as simplistic as it was on Channel 4 but far from the trash we've seen from 5). The latest task of the talent show could have been heavily edited into one big montage with swiping back and forth and anything from Now 88 bluring over the top, yet they seemed to keep it simple.

What with CBB as front page news (depending of course) and the less-edited highlight shows, it almost feels like we've got a little piece of classic CBB back..

Hopefully they continue with this editing style for the civilian series so it no longer feels like a reality show like Towie and more like BB.

the only annoying musical intrusion I can remember is the night before last, when they had a brief dancing montage

I feel the same.
I still get a slightly tacky vibe, seeing the beginning 'BEWARE' sign does get a big grating every night. Saying that the editing is much better hopefully the next series of Big Brother will be the same :D

I mean of course we are all still subjected to a dance track at the beginning whilst they are waking up but any excuse to have a jam..

They do have some tacky bits here and there still although I agree. It does feel like a classic CBB series.

It's nice that tasks are being shown a bit more 'raw' rather than the OTT editing with cheesy music and Marcus shouting through the speakers.

Its been so much better and Marcus has toned it down...Probably not his decision to do so but from public feedback.

I wish they would have the BB music background they have on the "BEWARE" bit also playing through the previously montage instead of the music box type thing.

Yeah it doesn't make sense.

Its says "8:43" am: yet times sped up by a million so by the end of the 20 second montage its about 11am.

Every task used to start with Marcus saying "AND THEEEEY'RE OFF" Then he continues to shout over the montage like a sports commentator.

I got very angry at one point in CBB9, told him my thoughts and got blocked by the lovely Mr BENT-ley .
