Simon Cowell is planning a European X Factor grand final - with winners from 15 countries competing against each other.
The music guru is in talks to have co-ordinated X Factor shows running throughout Europe within two years, before the winners of each competition go head-to-head and the ultimate champion is crowned.
A source told The Mirror: "To use a football analogy, we are currently the Premiership and it would be the European Champions League. All countries would compete in their competitions at the same time.
"Then all the winners would fight it out to become champions of Europe. It would be like the Eurovision Song Contest - but with good singers. This would be the biggest prize in TV history and 100 million would watch the final."
