The people 'going off ' Michelle on FB and TWItter and DS were NOT fans of her anyway.
Those saying that must have supremely delicate feelings and sense of loyalty if they put off by ANYTHING she's done in there.
Ive known about Michelle for the last decade and i know how hard she fought for equal rights for the LGBT community. Ive loved her fierceness and demeanour and aura ever since and nothing would shake that.

I'm good at ignoring those comments. They don't know her well enough.

Aah what ashame going off the clowns twatty Michelle and monkeyboy Callum..who would of thought..never mind Im sure theyl have a great future together in the Circus..
I liked her - but yes, I wasn't a fan. I don't do "fandom".
She didn't turn out to be quite the person I thought she was, my error. You learn about people in different ways. She doesn't have to be the person I thought she was, and she certainly doesn't need me, any more than I need her.
As I said, I'll applaud her work for equality, but there's probably others higher in my list of those who have fought for the LGBT community that I hold a lot of respect for, and I'd be glad not to have that diminished so hopefully they won't be going on any reality tv shows.

With all due respect (which is more than you give people a lot of the time), that's crap.
Sure, I wasn't a pre-existing fan because I wasn't extremely aware of her before CBB, but she was a very strong favourite of mine, before she started acting in a way that I didn't expect of her. Take Bananagate, for example. I'd have expected her to either ignore it (considering she hid food too), or confront Alicia face-to-face straight away, not whisper about it, and later on be involved in a gossip about her personal life. This disappointed me because of all I'd heard about her, and pre-BB interviews I saw, it was totally against how I'd expect her to react to the situation. It was just catty, and I didn't have Michelle down as that.
You speak for yourself, don't presume you can do so for me. In the early days of the series, I was a fan. Now, while I don't dislike her, I'm not exactly a supporter because she's disappointed me. People are entitled to feel that way without someone starting a thread moaning about people daring to have a different view on things.

I went off her a bit for sticking up for Cami who suggested that Alicia's family did not love her. Then Cami backtracked, and said she didn't say it. Then Michelle butted in, and agreed with Cami.

Why should viewers give a **** what she has done the last 10 years?
The more she blindly supports Hopkins and Cami the more people will naturally go off her. She's being judged in the house not outside.

If you didn't know who she was before then what right do you have to be 'disappointed'?
Thats absurd.
Those who've known her for years are seeing exactly what we love about her, she hasn't dissappointed anyone.

What are you not understanding about this.
Michelle was massively not a fan of Hopkins before she went in, see all her twitter rants about her.
The Fact someone like Michelle sees the good in Katie proves to all who know Michelle that Katie isn't bad at a all.
I trust her judgement.
I dont continue to judge someone based on soundbites of her character in interviews.

Did you miss the part where I she was my favourite in the early days? She disappointed me because I liked her, and then she started acting in a way that I didn't like. And yes, more disappointment came from little what I'd heard and seen of her before. I saw an interview where she herself says "I don't say it behind your back", yet she did just that numerous times with Alicia. I heard a lot about how she's totally against nastiness, catty behaviour, etc, then she involves herself in a particularly nasty gossip session.
Of course I have a right to feel disappointed, anybody does. This suggestion that you only have a right to form a particular opinion if you've known of someone for longer is ridiculous.
What's "absurd" is your terrible attitude to anyone who has something to say that differs from what you want to hear.

I don't watch Drag Race, I find it too annoying. So I never knew of her existence.
Like her even more after the diary room rant. And loving her friendship with Katie.
Couldn't give a crap about Alicia, who's a disgusting person and not a victim.

She had ONE conversation about Alicia whilst not in her presence where she recounted Alicias story to the other girls.
NOT ONE BITCHY COMMENT left her mouth about Alicia. Just because came and Chloe may have bitched doesn't mean Michelle did.
She has said EVERYTHING to peoples faces

Gosh, so much anger. Again. Though, at least you're not swearing your head off at me this time.
Michelle had no right to "recount Alicia's story" to anyone. That's her personal life, that's her's to discuss with who she chooses (and, clearly, she didn't choose Cami for a reason). Especially when you know those you're telling it to dislike her. And I never once said Michelle said the worse things, but she was a willing participant.
And what about the start of the banana situation? She saw Alicia take the bananas and whispered about "dingbat" taking them. The best thing to do would be to approach Alicia directly and ask her about it. Again, catty and behind her back. The fact that she later asked her about it directly is irrelevant. It's made even worse that she and Katie themselves hid food, so they were persecuting Alicia for something they clearly had no problem doing themselves.
I don't dislike Michelle, I don't think she's a bad person, but I think she messed up here. Yes, she disappointed me and I of course have the right to feel that way, that's how BB works.
People need to chill with getting crazily angry about people getting disappointed in Michelle. This is a discussion board, you shouldn't be arrogant enough to expect everyone to echo your views.

Fans invest a lot of themselves in other people - if they don't get angry and intolerant when other people don't get 100% behind those they are worshiping then they probably couldn't consider themselves loyal fans. Being rational and circumspect doesn't feature largely in the phenomenon.
It's the nature of the beast.

I think it's unfair to say what you're saying  She gained early popularity for going off at Perez and will continue to do so (so long as she doesn't try to keep playing the 'he is ruining gays' card) because he's a total spanner, but obviously has gained criticism for joining the KCC group... because, you know, Big Brother viewers are all daring individuals who would never form a group of gossippy friends in a reality TV show...
And yeah, the backlash she's gotten has been a little over-the-top but that's true of every housemate in every series, really, there's always going to be something that rubs people up the wrong way. I think she is still popular and liked, though, so there's really no need for this thread :p

Ellie,
I understand you have your favourites. But others have their favourites too. Just because some people turn against your favourite it doesn't mean they weren't fans. I still like Michelle, but that's not to say I'm annoyed at what she did yesterday.
People have the right to dislike a housemate, just as much as you have the right to dislike a certain housemate.
You need to stop forcing your opinions on people.
Your pretty much a clear example of an Ashleigh supporter who hindered her chances of winning back in the summer.
EDIT: Michelle is still popular anyway, so I don't see the point of your assumption. It's not like she's gone from hero to zero, within a matter of 24 hours.
