Roobarb and Custard present the year Bagpuss was born.

Sweeney, Monopoly, and glasses for dogs.

Kermit the Frog remembers Abba, Rocky, and Beards.

Carrie Fisher remembers the year Star Wars was released.

Lynda Carter was a Wonderful Woman in 1978


1979

Bo Derek introduces the final year of a funky decade.

I love the 60's and 70's.... infact, i'm currently dating a women in her late 60's, takes a while to get her going but boy, stropz is a trooper.

I normally put some war films on before the tea though... gets her motor filled with petrol, and then of course the hobnob is the ignition and yes... I’m the accelerator… and you can imagine the rest.

I tell you what, Saving Private Ryan must bring back some really good air raid shelter memories for her.

I'm proud yeah because i get to use your bus pass in the morning when i sneak out to urgently do something. I wear that perm wig that you said the next door neighbours dog ate... oh yes.

And you only stay warm if i keep pre-heating the oven and i'm regulary suffering from sleep deprivation. Fall asleep on the bus sometimes.

I woke up yesterday on the bus and some dirty old perv called albert was looking up my skirt, even more worryingly i forgot to wear my thermals so the cold actually made my winkie go back inside myself.
