As a gay man, I'm sick of all this faux outrage on my behalf. Alexander in no offended me or said anything i consider to be homophobic.
Perez is the only one in there 'offending' (for want of a better word) me at the moment

As i said before only Perez fans have become offended

Who said they're getting offended on your behalf? There may be gay people out there who were offended, that's reasonable to be honest.
I don't believe Alexander is homophobic for a second, but it's understandable that some people may have an issue with him using that word. We shouldn't dictate how others feel and respond to things.

You can't speak for the all the gay men in the UK. I think people have the right to be outraged gay or not.

He only appears to have one, and that person has a dozen accounts. 'Bradtheladlong' anyone?

Agree with you, it is just people trying to make an excuse for Perez's and his behaviour. However I do think Alex was wrong, he knew that, he said sorry and he was warned, that should be enough.

Have we as a society become so pathetic that a meaningless word brings us to our knees.
For god sake people need to grow some balls and get over it, and stop using 'outrage and offence' as a weapon to win arguments

Different people have their own experiences. You have no right to dictate who should find what words offensive / not offensive, and certainly no right to brand people pathetic for it. It may be meaningless to you, it's not to others.
And no, I'm not one of those who was offended, but I don't expect the entire world to live by how I feel.

'I know what you want but you’re not going to get it,’ the US singer snapped. ‘You’re going to sit there with that silly a** *******ot look on your face!'
disgusting:nono:
Michelle didn't seem to be too pleased about him using the word - was she exhibiting something faux too?

that phrase was a new one on me, i maintain that people are only offended because they want to be. The old saying sticks and stone ... still holds true for me, and I could have taken personal insult more than 1000 times if I had chosen to do so.

Yes,it's all a tad over the top, you'de think these people had never themselves said anything derogotary about others,so nice that as a gay guy you can realise Alex was just angry it was not a slur on the whole gay community, some people just like something to get 'outraged' about:wavey:

But you support Michelle who did the exact same thing just a couple of nights ago, and hers was over nothing in comparison and that is the truth (excuse the pun) on the matter.
