Devastated to hear this tragic news.....44 years in the legendary corrie.....she was one of the best of the genius actors they have. we were all brought up with anne as Deirdre and the love triangle with barlow and mike Baldwin. she was hilarious, really expressive and like all the best corrie stars she has great comic timing. to think she was only 60 too, so sad, thanks for the decades of entertainment anne...x True legend.

Didn't she have cancer in her lymph nodes a few years back? She's always seemed in poor health to me for the last 5 years or so, she never looked particularly well. I'm saddened by the news, she was a joy to watch. Rest in peace Annie :love:
