I'm angling towards one of the first two but that line from Hester in an early episode - "Can I call you mom?" - is suddenly sticking out as a possible clue thrown in and disguised as a joke.

Grace's mother being the Chanel-esque girl in 1995 was a cool surprise, I was assuming she might be Chanel's mother. :laugh:

Episode 8 was great, so many highlights! The first 4 minutes slayed, The Chanel and Grace scene was amazing. The death scene/speach/the moment of silence. Gigi and Grace's scene. Overall just a great episode

after episode 8...we know thatBoone & Gigi are working together and are working with a 3rd person. However who's to know if theres more than 3 red devils!? This episode they made it look like it could either be Grace's dad or Zayslay (i doubt it's either of them). I'm ruling out Munch and The Chanel's on the count i think it would be stupid. :laugh:

At this point Scream Queens has wound itself around so many times that I don't know if any Red Devil Killer reveal is going to be actually shocking. From multiple sinister mirror moments to every character giving bombastic speeches that make it seem like they are the killer, the FOX dramedy just feels like it's treading water to fill screen time. Maybe this show would have worked much better as a feature film -- that was part of why the two-hour pilot worked for me so well, because it felt like the spiritual successor of Scream. But as we lose the charm of revisiting and satirizing horror classics, the potential of Scream Queens slips away. Even Jamie Lee Curtis's recreation of her mother Janet Leigh's famous scene in Psycho didn't have the weight it might have had in earlier episodes, thought it was a fantastic moment for horror fans.

I'm pretty sure that Chanel No5 is the other killer, it has to be one of the Chanels that were present when the ghost stories were being told and I think it's more likely that she either set up or made up the car scene to divert suspicion than No3 pretending that Boone was a ghost.

I was angling towards #3 being the sister but after this episode with her seeing Boone while he was on the phone to his sister and genuinely thinking he was a ghost, it can't be her. I'm sure it's Hester (who is still alive) now.

Also Boone mentioned being trained to slow his heart rate enough to fool even a coroner into thinking he's dead, his twin sister would likely be able to do the same thing (and if you can fool a coroner you can fool the Chanels :laugh:).

I'm watching Scream Queens on E4 pace so I'm literally avoiding any of the posts above and I'm just here to spew my thoughts on so far :whistle: I'm really enjoying this. I'm up to episode 5 now. It has some brilliant characters. I love Chad, Chanel #1, Denise, Zayday, and Dean Munsch :flutter:

Last nights episode was brilliant and better than episodes 3 and 4 imo. In terms of who I think the killer is, my thoughts are either Dean Munsch or the father. A little part of me thinks it's Denise, but I hope not as I like her. Zayday going missing at the end of the last episode makes me a tad suspicious about the possibility of it being her as well, but I'm not going to overthink things.

I'm thinking of just catching up with all the episodes aired so far and binge watching this online as waiting a week for it on E4 is a little too long. And the show finishes airing in US in 2 weeks. So I'll probably wait until then and start it after I finish TA10 or something.

Im back to thinking Pete is the other killer

I don't think it's Pete as Boone's the boy and the other twin is suppose to be a girl, I also don't think it's Pete as he tried investigating at the campus at night to see some of the names on the piece of paper (I can't remember all of the story details as I've only seen the episodes once) but I do remember him getting knocked out by The Red Devil Killer from behind, why would The Red Devil Killer do that if Pete was in on it with them? My personal theory is that Melanie is the killer as she got Acid attacked by Chanel and I feel that's why it means even more to the female killer than it does to Boone because Melanie wants to get vengeance on Chanel for what she did to her, don't forget that The Red Devil Killer could've attacked Melanie after the Acid attack, yet never did.

Just to add another theory, I think Chanel No 4 actually got murdered by Melanie because Chanel No 4 knew about who Melanie's Mother was, and that she was related to Boone and that's why Chanel No 4 was dead before the show started.

I both enjoyed and felt disappointed in the finale in equal measure, to be honest.

The good: The comedy, once again, was on point. The scene in particular where Hester frames the Chanels one by one (#5's parents omfg) and their arrest as they tried to escape set to "Toy Soldiers" was brilliant. And the court scene ("your entire defence consisted of screaming at the jury that you were innocent and threatening to kill them if they voted otherwise" :joker:). I also liked Hester being the final killer, sure I called it weeks ago but it made sense.

The bad: I was expecting the lack of major character deaths over the course of the season to lead to a massacre in the finale, especially since we kept hearing that only 4 would live ... and then Pete was the only established character to die in the entire two part finale. It's like this show forgot that it's meant to be a slasher. :shrug:

Also, the fact that Hester apparently only killed Pete (and I assume Gigi) means that the main killer dropping bodies throughout the season was Boone, aka the one we already knew was involved.

So yeah, this show disappointed as a slasher / horror but definitely delivered as a comedy.

Kind of predicted most of what was gonna happen in the finale, in hoping S2 is only 10 episodes and things aren't revealed in episode 2 like in this season

I had Hester on my list of three because like she said her mom was dead and she was all weird about death etc but it was still a shock. Im kinda glad that red devil in the asylum is a new killer so if there is a s2 then theres a new mystery

I'm going to talk about the finale first. I don't know how I feel about it tbh. It wasn't really what I was expecting. I thought it would be some big reveal with the killers taking off the masks or something - basically a Scream-esque reveal. But it was nothing like that at all. It did leave me disappointed ngl but having said that the comedy value of the whole thing just made it brilliant and all the more better and made up for the disappointment it caused with the reveal. The whole flash-foward thing again annoyed me as I'm not here for Chanel #1 and #3 being scapegoated :fist: But the trial scene as well as the mental asylum scene was hysterical.

I'm really worried about the ending though. :worry: I ****ing hope Chanel #1 isn't dead. I s2g :fist:

I agree with the posts above saying there should've been more deaths and a slasher atmosphere to it. I think by the last few episodes, it had turned into a comedic thing, which I get as it's a horror-comedy but I felt that the balance wasn't equal between the two and it came across more comical without the underlying slasher and suspense elements. I'm also surprised more of the sorority sisters didn't get killed. I was honestly expecting at least another Chanel to get killed, possibly Chanel #3 or #5 (Chanel #1 was always going to live lbr) and possibly either one of Grace or Zayday at least.

Overall my thoughts on the show are positive. I've enjoyed it. I think it has some great characters all of which work really well. The mystery element was good enough as was the suspense and slasher tones of the show. The comedic element of it worked very well and had me laughing throughout. My main flaw though is that I felt it dragged on a little in the later episodes of the show. I personally think it would've been better if the show was 10/11 episodes rather than 13. There were some unnecessary additions like the Munsch husband thing which had no relevance to the ending/reveal now you look at it in hindsight.

I really hope there's a second season next year :fc:

That whole scene where Hesther is accusing all the Chanel's one by one and Chanel's #5's parents and when the police come to arrest them and Denise's **** police skills @ her clocking Boone was the killer even though we found this out in like episode 6, and Denise still accusing Zayday of being the killer and having it in her for to the point where she still has her eyes on her even though the "killers" had been revealed

Get excited, Scream Queens fans! Emma Roberts has confirmed she and her character Chanel will be back when the show returns for its second season later this year.

The actress revealed the news to E! News on Friday (February 12) while fittingly speaking at the Ralph Lauren Polo presentation at New York Fashion Week.

"Yeah, Chanel is back!" she said. "I'm so excited for season two of Scream Queens because I can only imagine what the writers have in store for Chanel."

With a spooky hospital set to take over the Wallace University campus as the main scene of the crime, the show is reportedly casting four new male roles who will all play doctors.

"I mean, I hope there's four hot doctors, because I feel like if there is anything season two needs, it's four hot doctors," Roberts continued.

"I hope they bring a couple people back from the first season, because I love all those boys so much. You are putting me on the spot, too much pressure, but I know that if Ryan Murphy does one thing well it's casting amazing, talented and really hot people. He always casts the cutest boys!"

A second season for the series was announced at the TCA press tour in January, when Fox co-chairman Dana Walden hinted that characters from season one could return.

Series creator Ryan Murphy also used the event to defend the show against racism accusations, particularly in reference to a comment made by Chanel in the first episode, saying: "I don't think we were ever glorifying it, or saying that those characters were brave or wonderful for saying that.

"We were saying that they were broken, and the system they were in was broken. But I think it's an interesting dialogue to have, and I think we can always be doing better."

Scream Queens returns to Fox in the US for its second season later this year.

- Cathy (Jamie) hires Brock (John) because he is 'very hot'.
- Brock lost his hand in a Super Bowl party accident. He has someone else's hand that starts to 'wander around'.
- Cathy (Jamie) became so well known that she was on Oprah.
- The Chanels are 'sad' when we see them again. Cathy saves them, suspiciously.
- Jamie said season 2 is set three years after season 1, however some of the other girls said its 2 years.
- The Chanels are desperately trying to hold onto 'their own style' in season 2.
- Their is definitely a new killer in season 2.
- The show is a lot less 'glamorous' and more 'relatable' in a good way.
- Zayday graduated from College in a year and a half.

I'm not so sure. I think maybe Taylor Lautner (idk his name in the show) is the baby? And I think the new killer is actually the husband who got pushed into the swamp. After all, he got the cape and the mask thrown onto him... He then definitely has a motive to kill. He may not have actually died that night.

I found it okay? It wasn't good but it wasn't bad either. IA with people saying it was pretty slow. The Chanel's weren't even in it for the first 15 minutes. And I'm also not too keen on the whole background/setting this season, it's kinda messy.

Hmm yeah. I think the setting probably is the problem with the season as the original characters are still good.
