View Full Version : I think this series will start getting steadily worse

The twist felt really flat last night. No atmosphere and nobody seemed to really care. I don't know why they keep trying to hype up Katie P as some big name or star because she's really not. She's been in the background for a few years now. With people being kicked out and walking out it's made the series suffer. Perez, Hopkins and price have also ruined it for me. Seems to be all about them

I agree the twist was dreadful, made even more dreadful due to giving KP 24 hours to make her decision, they really didn't want KH up, so I expect she was told who to save.

If you were to take Katie H, Katie P & Perez out, I think it could be a really interesting series.
But BB do this every time-make an entire series about two or three people.

BB made a big mistake recently by allowing Jim and Helen to win. There hasn't been a nice winner for ages and they probably think that viewers will only return if nice people start winning so this year, they don't want Hoppo or Perez to win so they have drafted in KP who has over 2 million followers. This was a bad thing for the show but she will win and give them what they want at the expense of the show itself. Simply they have goofed again and ruined a perfectly good show and turned it into a snooze fest.

Jim was a nice bloke with a bad past, the public love a redemption character type story like his

It's not really about who wins. Because let's face it people remember series more than winners. It's just the fact that it's all gone stale. Hopkins seemed to be trying to force drama last night when she was saying everyone is being too nice. She probably got a little whisper behind the mirror

The drama started again after the twist...
- Perez reverting to his old self
- Katie hurling insults at Perez
- And a row between Keith and Kavana

I am not one of KP followers and no little about her.She has appeared nice since entering the house but I suspect she has another side which we might eventually see. Will this will work for or against her winning chance I have no idea.
I do not like Perez full stop yet find a morbid fascination in watching him.He has taken a step back but I think this is part of his very calculated game plan and the second front will be launched soon.
Much can yet happen and cause opinion's and perceptions to change which for myself is the interest.

Look on the twitter feed, its as dead as a dodo.
The Twitter feed rarely tweets about rows. According to Twitter Saturday was a very slow friendly day... the same day with the whole Perez/Alex thing and Alex walking out.
But as I said, there have been rows again last night.

Big night ahead for the Keith v Kav drama
The difference between a kav/keith argument pulls less interest than a Katie/perez tiff, so the effect is far less watchable.

Yep, there as high as ever :D
Sadly the ratings will plummet tonight with both the NTAs on (which has a history of tearing CBB a new one!) and Wolf Hall, which has huge buzz.

I don't know if that rings true. People would expect tiffs from KH and Perez and may think "Oh another one". Keith and Kavana are friends, quieter members who have had a row, so people would probably be more interested in that, because unlike the other two who never got on, these two were friends.

I must admit that I haven't seen an argument clip but I fear its going to be a damp squid that has been hyped up to rake in viewers. The Katie - Perez rants are brill and pull in viewers. Kav is not that important to the show and to a degree Cheggars is pretty bland so who really cares.

Keith is unhappy with Kavana:

A lot more happened must have lead to it because this seems so random.
i was getting very tired of all the kh perez drama, so i'm quite happy for it to have taken a slightly different direction. I don't believe for a minute that the drama has ended, but 3 weeks or whatever of what we had last week would have had people switching off in their thousands. Variety is always much better viewing, in my opinion.

The prods are hell bent on chaos and its as if the series cant survive without it. Give us some silly tasks and we will laugh and have fun with them. Listening to Katie P telling us that one of her x husbands likes stuff up his arse is not funny or watchable in my book.

The twist was pathetic
Why do they force twists every week if that's the best they can come up with??
I think it's still doing alright, in reality (I mean not coopped up in a house for weeks) there wouldn't be constant drama, arguing and so on so a few days with some calm isn't so bad really.
Plus everything kicked off last night after the twist so that will more than likely be shown tonight.
Although I do agree the twist was crap but I suppose they are trying to get their moneys worth out of Katie Price.
All that said, this past week or so should have proven without any doubt to the producers that things go a lot better without any manipulation from them.
The difference between a kav/keith argument pulls less interest than a Katie/perez tiff, so the effect is far less watchable.
I don't think that's true at all, people are already getting bored with the Perez against whoever stuff so a break from that will be refreshing and anyone that knows cheggers from years ago will think 'hold on, cheggers arguing with anyone? I need to see this'.

About 500k of viewers are not Big Brother fans. They are fans of disruption in the house. So you will lose viewers.

Just as the argument is rising all you hear on the background is Katie Price and ****ing Nadia saying "OK that's enough!, lets all go to sleep"....FFS just leave.
Kavana is really starting to break down now like he did on The Big Reunion he has serious issues.
Keithe has started talking about Katie Price now though as has Alicia so new dynamics are forming. Keith has said today he doesn't like Katie Price's openness and he finds it embaressing.
I think Katies entrance and Perez hearing the crowd stopped the drama in its tracks and only now is it picking back upbut come Friday I predict it will quiet down again after the crowd chants. I seriously don't understand why they cant announce the eviction from a quiet studio.
I would prefer it if Emma announced it from the bots studio then made her way up to the house during the break.

It's like I said in The Lounge; it's easy to spot a boring episode in a series that has been so eventful so fast.
I think we're expecting a lot from this series because it started so well.

EVer since Price entered the dynamics have changed dramatically. Every body is congregating around her like she some kind of royalty and the feuds that were prevalent have been put on hold due to every one hanging on Priceys words.
From the explosive first few days to this is certainly a turn for the worse.

I agree. It seems their biggest mistake was throwing Pricey in the mix. Any potential arguments she could've had were sorted out in the first half an hour. Now her and Hopkins are BFF's  And Alicia wouldn't really be a match for her so it's going down the "she's actually alright" route

seems like they are ignoring Pricey and getting on with it once again. Jolly good show and for what its worth, why are they spending food money keeping Pricey in there, she is so not relevant anymore.

Taken a dip again over the last few days. I think the rot has truly set in. They're struggling for 45 mins of footage and even the editing is below par.

Tonight was full of drama and so was yesterday tbf.
I think its the fact that its now become so repetitive that people are saying its calmed down.
Its still all out war every single day its just after 18 days of the same thing people have become bored, the show has not changed at all....Thats the problem.
