What we have to remember is, (and this is in line with the title of the thread) many of the viewers/voters of CBB have never read her column in the Sun and never seen her interviewing anyone. They may of seen her in the Apprentice but she never did anything in that competition to really annoy anyone.

In the house she has bullied, no doubt about that but so has Cami and Nadia; what she's written and spoken about prior to coming in the CBB house is a one sided, uneducated opinions but it isn't bullying. This has created a hero for some, who think what she thinks but needed her voice to say it and hated by others who will reject her at every opportunity.

As to be expected, KH is a hypocrite of her opinions. Whilst we all have a right to change our mind, if you are going to voice disgust about someone on a public platform, you should at least be able to live up to your words. Katie has show us all that she doesn't have the ability to do that...some just don't see it because they are blinkered.

She's using bullying by proxy. She's making accusations and statements that may entice bullying from the general public. She's a keyboard warrior. One of the easiest forms of journalism is "commentary". Most journalists who write commentary do their research which enables them to write in context and add value to a piece. KH took an even easier route of "Observe journalism" which takes no research and therefore holds no value other than gaining support from those who think like she does. Unfortunately her supporters justify her views and so she could be seen as enticing bullying.

I wonder if she's an NUJ member because she would definitely be in breach of the NUJ code of practice.

If she went out on the street and told the working classes that they were all unintelligent; if she stopped a fat person and told them they were lazy, she would be pressing charges on people for ABH. Good post, bullying really doesnt have to be physically violent, I to think they are both on a level in there behaviour in the house. They are both to some degree entertaining in the house. However I am beginning to tire of both them a bit now. Would like to see a bit more of the other housemates.

If it was possible to sit with Katie and talk about them one to one,I am sure there would be some reasonable cause for what she says,I don't think you should take what she says literally,but we are all different in our take on things.IF Katie is saying something different when I'm one on one as opposed with cameras and millions of people watching then I stand by my conclusion of her as a fake. Based purely on their actions within the house, Perez has been an irritant (as highlighted by the arguments/general chaos he caused last week) but Katie's response to him has been wholly out of proportion and downright nasty, and I'd argue that she fits the definition of a 'bully' much more, along with her awful friend Cami. However, i've never gone down that route because I'm aware of the stuff Perez does outside the house and so know that in reality he's no better than her.

I do find it laughable the way some act as though one of the two are 'superior' to the other, as if there's a 'good guy' and a 'bad guy' in this storyline when it's blatantly obvious that that is not the case. I fail to see any deep routed innocence in either of them, no 'mask' you can remove to find a lovely person hidden behind. No genuinely nice person would say the things that they do so publicly.

Well said Richard but I have to say, I don't find what they say offensive, just ignorant. We can all cause a cluster f-ck online; we are all capable of trolling or being a keyboard warrior if we are that way minded but unless we have an entire back up team, we will only ever reach out to a very small audience. Hopkins and Parez really are no different to all the other people who regularly offend others on social networking sites, the only difference is, they both have a financial support system behind them.

She attacks a multitude of subjects and people from strong to weak. So i disregard that. I also do not like what she does for a living but that is obviously her choice. And i for one do not defend her comments.

But i do like her being the main HM giving Perez just what he deserves. Though at times going slightly OTT.

She comes across as too silly and immature in the house. Really stupid at times.

Outside the house it's like she is trying and failing to be a British "Joan Rivers" type, only she doesn't have the skill or the humour. Some of her "controversial" comments have been almost direct theft from some of River's repertoire (may she rest in peace) in my view.

She's doing well in her career in terms of getting people to react - but I haven't found really any good reason to waste too much time thinking about her.

But here is the thing i cant understand, Yes perez has acted terrible but so has Kate. Her cruel personal attacks on Alicia, Nadia and perez have been below the belt. So why is ok for Kate to act horrible but not perez? She has said she wants perez to be isolated completly. Isnt katies medicine poured way over the line now?
