Maybe that's what everybody needs: an open mind and an open heart. I see in her a person who must have struggled in her life because of people's opinions about her and created a character who is insensitive and awful.

But if you give her some understanding and acceptance, she will show her true self, a kind and funny and yet a little grumpy person. But a lovely one. That's exactly how Michelle is treating her and I couldn't be more proud of her for not following the sheep and hating Hopkins.

I don't care if her awful comments are part of a character (nor do I believe that, actually). That doesn't make what she says any better. Using that logic, it would be justifiable for me to run into a seriously ill patient's hospital room and mock their plight if I ended it with "not really, I'm just playing a character". I'm pretty sure it would be hurtful and wildly offensive regardless.

Of course, the "it's just a persona" thing is just one excuse used to justify her words, "she tells it like it is" and "she's just joking" being others.

It's also quite tiring to see some of her fans continuously blame others for judging her for comments she chooses to make. Sorry, but she alone bears the responsibility for any hurt she causes, her "I don't give offence, you take it" line is crap and a weak way to absolve herself of any responsibility for her own actions.

Why don't you "shrug off" any negativity towards Michelle instead of making several threads blasting anyone who doesn't like her? Nope, my disappointment with Michelle is based on her own actions, which I've gone into detail with more than once. I've no desire to go over the same stuff yet again, especially with someone who I know read my thread on the subject and continues to ignore peoples' opinions to form their own narrative of why people feel a certain way.

And yes, I have a bad impression of Hopkins because of the things she said before CBB. So what? Once again, if you make public comments like that, it's fair to be judged on them. Though, if you're suggesting that she's done nothing in the house to cause people to dislike her, you're wrong on that count too with me. Along with that, though, I've seen things I've quite liked from her too (how her relationship with Alicia seemed to become more affectionate by the end, mainly), but that doesn't erase the things I don't like.

And regardless of your opinion on Perez and those who support him, surely your "shrug it off" attitude should stand for all housemates and not just Hopkins?

I'd say something about it whoever the threads were being made about (actually, you should probably see the part of my sig where Michelle is in my favourites). Creating threads about how Katie is a saint and anyone who dislikes her is a troll, how dare they not agree with me, over and over... that's not constructive. One or two threads on the subject, fine, but making similar ones over and over strikes me as nothing but trying to get a reaction.

To me she is one the most rotten women I have ever come across,I was once at an event she was at, where she was spouting off against people disabled who had cancer, she was cruel, vindictive and couldn't see why they needed so many benefits and that there must be some work they could do to 'keep them 'busy'.

I don't agree that he has been bullying anyone, and certainly not Alexander O Neal, who had he wished to could have cut him down to size in an instant.

I also,if you read my post, never said he hadn't at times been malicious, I stated that his actions were not 'that' malicious, that doesn't mean at times they possibly cannot be interpreted as such.

However to threaten to do somehting to someones drink, to threaten to clash pans above their heads when they are asleep and to threaten,(had Nadia been evicted on friday), to get the others to ostracise him in the house, all that is malicious and all that came from one Katie Hopkins.
