BB diehards v newbies

The latest viewing figures are pretty good but do people not think that the split of diehard fans that watch the show all the time verses the new viewers that are attracted by people like KP and Perez, are only here for the duration then will leave. Ok twitter might be in meltdown but that's not a bad thing because it will get 500k extra viewers tonight just peeping in to see the fall out and then drifting away.

The Prods are slapping the regular diehards in the face at the expense of the partimers that are popping in but not sticking around.

I agree a bit like "Brand New Customer Only Rates". What else can BB do, the whole BB thing has been done to death. I as I'm sure many others could write a long list about what to do but they are never going to listen and realistically as long as ratings are up, why should they.

The frustrating thing is they had listened to us fans for the first 10 days it was back to how it used to be. There was no outside contact, no gimmiky tasks, no Marcus screaming over the show and no music montages. Viewers fell but were still great and they scrambled around like headless chickens to do everything to get those 3 million back and it hasn't worked.

Its gone from being heaped with praise from fans, critics, Twitter and the newspapers to fix claims because of producer manipulation and outside contact in tasks.

They got greedy this year and didn't think about the show in the long run when they put in Katie Price.

The inclusion of KP was defo a brain fart but the further involvement of any of her x's conquests is as lame as their first idea.

500k are here for drama. 2.6 million regulars are still split in how they like the show. You can't please everyone. But if each show is a bit different you can please everyone eventually.

I dont think they'res much viewers that are new to bb altogether just maybe some that are watching this series haven't watched it in a few years (or maybe watched last years) bb used to get much higher than 3 million & i think a lot of these extra viewers are ones who stopped watching around bb8/bb9 & are now watching a little bit.
