I agree, i do not think he has been half as bad as many suggest. I think the reason for the extensive hate is repetition, repetition from Hopkins which has in-turn convinced everyone else that he is as despicable as she makes out.

Yes, he is a bit of a loon (which is good tv) but imo he is no where near as bad as many believe that he is. There are certain individuals in the house who have been significantly worse.

i don't take perez seriously at all, but i find his antics tiresome, i think he is manuplative and has done this series more harm than good :shrug:

I agree with both posts. I just find it difficult to remain silent when people try to paint Perez as an "innocent" or excuse his horrible behavior as somehow justifiable because they dislike the person Perez is abusing. Even Perez himself doesn't try to justify his actions, he gladly brags about how he enjoys antagonizing housemates that he doesn't like. I may not like it, but I can respect that he is honest about his motives.

For me Nadia is far worse...she pretends to be noble...but she only comes to the assistance to the housemates that she has befriended...all others are on their own. That is not noble. While I don't like people who appoint themselves as the "moral police" of the house, I would still have some respect if she applied this to everyone, not just her friends.

He is getting air time and honestly 1 - he's not doing gay community any good 2- some of his antics would have had other people thrown out. 3- I genuinely think that his baiting of people is disgusting 4- He is right in saying that BB is the Perez show because he is now running how the execs do things

The kind of people you're appealing to are the kind of people who do get angry and take the likes of Perez too seriously. You will never convince them to lighten up, these are the same kind of people who worship Katie Hopkins after all
