All this 'he/she is playing a game'

'its fake' 'its for the sympathy vote'

NONE of those things matter in CBB. 90% of them are there just to fulfil a contract and get paid.

There is no prize for winning.

They just want to get in and out as soon as possible.

They're all playing a game, they're all fake and they're all looking for a sympathy vote.

I think that they are all a bit fake, it's just what you enjoy watching more out of the type of Housemates that you get.

And I also believe that you have to be genuine to some degree otherwise the contestant will just become annoying.

Jim has made more money since winning CBB than he did in all his hay days on game shows. He is now a stable and secure millionaire again. There is no prize for winning eh, lol.

What's he getting paid to do?

I'm not saying that you are making it up, I just haven't seen anything about him in the media since his win.

Well there isnt

For a bunch of has beens and wannabes of course there is a prize for winning, maximum exposure and more opportunities for the spotlight  Obviously there's the odd exception like Alexander and Patsy who just want their fee and to get the hell out of there but the majority of them want the exposure more than the money even i would say, it's their business

But that exposure applies to ALL the housemates! Not the winner exclusively.

They've no reason or need to be 'playing a game'

To a point yeah but obviously first off the longer you stay in there the more exposure you're getting, the more people who are liking you and spending their money voting for you the more likely it is that people will be interested in seeing other stuff you're doing afterwards and obviously whoever wins will have more interviews and TV time

It's like a CV, you do better by being better than your competitors even in the celebrity circles. Having said that however there should be a prize for winning CBB. It's a mistake not to have a prize in the show itself.
