Leona, the X Factor's first female winner, is now favourite for the prized Christmas No 1 slot with a cover of American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson's song A Moment Like This.

More than eight million votes were cast on the night which ended with 21-year-old Londoner Leona winning a £1m recording contract.
She beat Liverpudlian Ray Quinn, 18, in the final and judge Simon Cowell reckons she's the best singer ever on the show. Louis Walsh said "delivered with every song".
William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams said: "Leona is by far the best X Factor contestant in three years of the show and we wouldn't dream of taking bets on her achieving at least five number ones in 2007.''
