QMy mum and I were walking the dogs and there was this big husky dog with a small man, we went down another road and avoided the dog.

Out of no where the dog and the owner Came running towards us, he had no control over the dog and it began to attack our 2 dogs! I pulled away the big dog of ours, but the little one was in the attacking dogs mouth, it was tearing it to pieces.

People just stood there and watched, all grown men, no one came over and kicked dog or helped pull the dog away whilst our little dog was dying, my mum wa screaming and she seemed to be the only man there, she put her hand in the dogs mouth to get our dog out. I couldn't help as I had our big dog, so if I had got closer then 3 dogs would have been involved again like the beginning. Eventually we got our dog and walked away with my going mad, and the dog and its owner went off.

Her hand was pouring with blood, and all cut whilst our dog was ripped down where it's private part is, blood was dripping everywhere and my mum and I were a state, but still no one helped, plenty of people had water on them etc. they just walked past and ignored us, even some avoiding us!!!!! No one called the police or anything whilst the attack was happening (5mins), we kept walking with my mum holding the cut dog in her hands dripping with blood, we eventually got our phones and she called her husband to pick us up. The dog is a the vet and may not survive.
The attack happened on a busy round a bout in Enfiled! I know if a TIBB was there, they would have helped! I'm outraged by the people watching! :( my mum is in hospital and the dog is at the vet z (I'm 15).

That truly is appalling! I'm so sorry to hear about your dog and your mum it must have been a horrible experience for you both I know if that happened to Cher (My dog) I would have been distraught. I can't believe nobody helped you in such a state reading your post made me just want to track them all down and give them all a good slap people are so self absorbed nowadays. I hope your dog pulls through it all and your mum to give her my condolences and you too.

Stay strong

Yes that is horrible and i have no idea why people keep Huskies as pets. I think it depends on the area if that had been round here (rural scotland) you would have got help but in urban areas people dont get involved.

Sorry to hear about that and it's awful people never helped afterwards, but tbf I wouldn't expect a stranger to jump into the middle of a dog fight especially when it's not even their dog

Huskies are absolutely beautiful dogs, like all dogs they need the training and good owners however.

That is a frightening experience, I own a Staffie, he has never as yet made to attack anyone elses dog or any person and he has a placid nature, I keep control of him all the time however both to ensure his protection and mine too.

No owner should have their dogs off the leads if they cannot control them. It is my concern and I sympathise fully with the op.
That really sad and distressing incident reads like a horror story, awful thing to happen and it really shouldn't have.
Really sad too that no one assisted, really horrible.

I am so sorry what an horrific experience, your mum should report it to the police maybe there is CCTV and as your mother was injured they can hold the owner accountable for their out of control dog.
I really hope your little pooch pulls through

There are no bad dogs, only bad owners. I'm sorry you and your mum and your dog suffered this attack and appalled that no-one tried to help. I get so angry at people who are too lazy to train their dogs. Then when the worst happens and the dogs attack, they have to be put to sleep, while the owner walks away scott free.
Hope all is well and that your dog recovers.

Bit of a generalisation our westie was attacked in a park in and people came to help just depends on luck i guess

Hope your dog survives Will

Absolutely agree - just as there are no bad babies only bad parents - and dogs are like children, if you have them you should look after them and be responsible for them 24/7.
