I have to say I don't like either Perez or Hopkins but I did feel sympathy for him at the end of tonight's show. Yes he seemed a little drunk but he's still a human being, though it seems to me a rather broken one. Very uncomfortable scenes at the end of tonights show.
I don't like how gleeful other housemates are over any upset he feels. They are all adults and perhaps its time some of them started to act like it.

Obviously you are having a hard time differentiating between a real person and a proven Thespian. His tears are as fake as he is and designed to get the sympathy votes, probably his last resort after admitting he was and is a liar. I want to stay and always wanted to get into the final was his final coffin nail.
The guy is calculated and I am sorry you cant see it but there are 6 days left, so I live in hope you rumble him and see him for what he is, a fake and vile troll.

Perhaps that is where we differ. Even if I dislike someone I can pity them.
He's a person, I dont like to see any person like that.
In fact the nastiness of Hopkins supporters is starting to bother me now. Its not classy.
And Brian Blessed isn't a real person? I'd expect everyone who knows him will be sad to hear that.

I agree with you. It was very uncomfortable watching Perez break down, drunk or not.
One thing I'd like to point out was the housemates where not gleefully watching him breakdown. They were all in the other room. No one saw him...they were not taunting him when he was down. Do you really thing that Keith or Pricey would just leave him alone sobbing in a corner?

You are right they didn't see what we saw but there was a lot of talk on tonights show about being glad if he's upset and that he deserves it, mostly over Nadia's leaving but still that attitude is there and with some fans too and I personally find that uncomfortable too.

Of course there is negative attitude about Perez from both the houseguests and the fans. Perez has yet to apologize for taunting them and laughing in their faces. It's easy for us to forget what he's done because we're not stuck in a house, cut off from the world with nothing to do but remember it.
He reminds me of a criminal that is not sorry for the crime he committed but sorry that he got caught and must now suffer the consequences.

Earlier in the night Cami and two others saw Perez break down in a flood of tears and show he was sorry for his past before the house.
They saw that in the kitchen, and just walked away to leave him on his own,I presume they then will have gone to the bedroom
to tell Michelle & KH about it if only to take the pis*
So pretty sure Michelle and KH will have known the state he was in before they said these things
Forget who the two sc*m were that were with Cami and walked away from him in the kitchen
but of course Keith and KP weren't there
as they would have helped, but pretty sure, like I said that Cami and the others would have told the ars* licker
and KH so they knew the state he was in when they said these r cruel things
i to am a bit concerned, however, we shouldn't forget that the BB producers have a duty of care.
in some ways, i want it to play out, because i want the public to see how far a group will go when they are intolerant of another (for whatever reason). When we say isn't it disgusting that such and such an event happened somewhere in the world, it is that collective group behaviour that causes it.
Those that harassed and ostracized Gary Busey last series didn't come out of it at all well and I have a feeling this one could shape up the same. If Michelle and Katie Price are the strong characters they maintain that they are, then they will sort it out. Its something that a strong willed character could easily resolve.

That is not true at all...I just went back to watch that particular scene in the show again and that is nowhere near to what happened. First off Perez was denying that he did anything wrong (far from being sorry for his past behaviour) and it looked like Cami and Kav walked away because they didn't agree with him and did not want to start an argument. Also, where the heck do you get "Cami and two others saw him break down in a flood of tears". They saw nothing of the sort when they walked away because Perez was not crying just then. Honestly, if you like him and want to support him...that is perfectly fair...but don't make stuff up please.

He is a bit like criminal but we have to remember he hasn't committed a crime.
Btw I answered in another thread but I'll mention here too. I said calling someone a knob who was crying wasn't my idea of funny. This was to the forum poster who thought the tears and name calling in the show were funny, not a claim that Perez was being abused whilst he cried.

Like Helen, after being horrid, he's going for the "journey" ploy and redemption arc. His tears are as phoney as he is.

His tears aren't fake. He cried when Nadia left and cried tonight because he'd obviously drunk a bit too much, which allowed him come out of his shell a bit more. He talked about the situation from a very personal and real point of view and I think he even got Cami's attention when he said that it was more painful than when his father died. I do think for the first time it hit her that he's still a person as well and that people/emotions and personalities are not purely black and white.
I've never bought the whole concept of playing 'the game' so to speak. At the end of the day even if people put up a front or create a different persona they will still naturally slide back into who they are. I think when Katie H cried she was genuine as well because she was so familiar with being hated and slagged off, so the nice comments actually brought her to tears.
Again, anyone that thinks that Perez was acting are just Perez haters in denial.

He's coming across as a little boy (when he did the "play" in front of Katie P and Keith he reminded me of a 7 year old!)

I don't want to sound harsh, but Perez has brought this down upon himself. If it had been Katy H or Michelle who had gone instead of Nadia, she and Perez would be ruling the roost right now and Perez wouldn't have had to play his 'I am a victim' card.
This guy knows exactly what he is doing and why. You reap what you sow and Perez is certainly reaping right now and all according to plan I have no doubt.

I predict Perez will have bounced back the next morning. In fact we would have heard about it by now if he'd gone into full melt down.
Cami and Kav were the two in the kitchen who witnessed the start of Perezes tears, just stared at him, and then wandered off back to the bedroom for a giggle with KH. Not amused by their behaviour at all.

I concur.
I really disliked him at the beginning but the way he has been treated both by Big Brother and four of the remaining housemates has actually turned me into rather liking him and if Cami Lee does not walk away as this years winner then I would happily sit back and watch Perez take the title.

The whole 'sympathy' or 'redemption' angle always tends to happen for the 'villain' of the series at some point and unfortunately a lot of people fall for it every single time. Perez has isolated himself and never done himself any favours, so why should they all suddenly start acting as though nothing has happened when he's been an absolute nightmare to live with just because Nadia has left? If he was intelligent he would have thought all this through and it also proves that he's a liar when it comes to hearing other people's perception of him.

A dislike that comes to moment when he is weeping in a corner and you can't think. Poor troubled man?
Just because we are baying in the Bb arena for the dramas, just because we don't like a housemate does not mean we cannot look at that same person and think that's a shame, that's hard to watch.

Hi I agree with you - everything Perez has done was bad. Especially at the beginning, but since then Hopkins has been pouring petrol on the fire, trying to trip him up. I think he truly regret going on the show. I don't like the man but as a human being I don't like seeing him outcasted like that and I hate the fact that KH used his behaviour as a platform from which to launch herself. She made it worse - I wish she would be evicted soon. She thinks she has won.
