For me Dionne and Leona are pretty much similar...both don't show much personality, seem quiet people and have great voices. When Dionne sang Simon said many times that backing singers also have amazing voices and was using that as a put down.

Dionne didn't make you go wow. She was just another gospel backing singer.

Just seems because you were disappointed with her winning, your trying to take the focus off her, and make everyone say that other people are better.

Shes won! Dionne didn't. Obviously the public preferred her.

Trying to take the focus off her? ....Just trying to make people actually think and make their own minds up and not be followers. If you don't agree your intitled to that...the same way I am of comparing her VOICE with Dionnes. I think I am making comments to debate and discuss...pretty much what forums are for.

I personally disliked Dionne because I thought that Tiga in the same group was much better than her and had more likeability to her persona. For me she was never my cup of tea and had no likeability factor to her. But based on female vocals I would say her and Leona were the best from a poor bunch of female artists.

I think the female contestants this year have been fantastic.

I would have preferred Tiwa to get through over Dionne, because I really like her. Nikitta and Kerry were fantastic, but I think nerves got to them and didn't give on the final nights.

Its not meant to be weird, the others were polls...all I want is to hear peoples opinions & to see if anyone thinks the same or in fact different to what I think. People compare people to other people all the time...none of them are "negative" threads at all...just to see peoples views. If you think that all threads should just be about the winner then thats a little unfair.

Well no not really, it just seems to me that sometimes the way dionne acted it wasnt very nice

No pic sorry but when I seen it they did also have champagne or something fizzy in a glass so maybe that took effect like it seemed to with Nikkita.

I just think that Dionne had a problem with her confidence which was also not helped by Simon slating her after each performance, which I don't understand why he did because I thought that all 3 of her performances were great.
It's a shame she went so early, I think that she should have made at least the final 6.

I think Dionne just didn't stand out as much Leona did, she had ability yes but in the same league as Leona imo.She did just seem like a backing singer put into the spotlight whilst Leona was just a very talented shy girl.

I never liked Dionne.. I think she had the unlikeability factor LOL..

I know Leona is quiet and shy but I thihk she comes across as quite a nice person.. I didnt see that with Dionne.. Never liked her at any time and I didnt want her to get through to the live shows.. I preferred the other girl in sharons group.. (dunno her name)

Yea I agree with that, the way the showed dionne it wasnt a very nice character wheres with leona she seems shy and sweet

Must admit I did like Dionne in the early stages, she did seem to be a really good singer. Whilst there were no endearing qualities about her as such, it shouldn't really be about that and judging by her singing I don't think she should've gone so early.

At the same time though, IMO Leona's definitely way better; there's no contest between the two. Leona has it all in my view, and although I agree Dionne shouldn't have gone early, that doesn't mean she can be compared to Leona at all. Leona's absolutely amazing.
