I just checked the odds. The exact same thing happened with Sam in BB14. Under the radar for the whole series, bar the last 10 days. This is the perfect time to increase in popularity. In BB14, Dexter and Gina's popularity dropped in the last week, in BB13, Deana's did too. There should be a BB phrase, "the plummet of a series favourite in the last week" or "an final week unknown HMs sprint to the finish"

Betfair showing Callum shortening to win at an alarming rate.

Katie H- 2.42
Keith- 4.3
Callum- 6.6
Perez- 8.4
Katie P- 13.5
Michelle- 38
Kavana- 140

Eviction odds has Kavana as hot favourite to go followed by either Michelle or Pricey. Callums odds to go are now 20/1

Data analytics for the CBB winner is hugely limited and therefore very unpredictable. We have online polls but only a small amount of viewers use them. We have phone in votes, but they are hugely variable and prone to change from one day to the next and at least half of the viewers won't submit votes until the finals. We have bets but they only account for a tiny percent of viewers.

The CBB house already have a prefered winner and have spent the last few days working on, 'swaying public opinions'. Yesterdays after show was also very telling.

I didn't wat the after show. Who do you think the public are being swayed to support?

Callum would be the worse winner in the history of CBB. I would rather vote for KH than him. If they are the last two i vote Hopkins. Better her than this bore. What the hell has he done to deserve to win? He has been quiet as a mouse until the last few days. I love it when the bores suddenly pipe up when they see the finishing line. I can see right through them and they don't fool me! :nono:

If Calum won he would be a very worthy winner. So glad he seems more likely to win now, no doubt due to him standing up to Perez last night.

Omg. Just the thought makes me sick. No one other than Hopkins and Hilton deserve the top 2 spots. Love them or hate them, they have made this series..imagine it without them!

Definately not Parez or Katie Hopkins. Very little was said about Calum or Kav or Michelle, though the psychologist did have some positives for Michelle.
A lot of warmth was shown towards Keith from both the panel and the audience.

If anyone but Perez/Keith/Kav wins, they'd be my favourite winner ever, I've only like one CBB winner and that was Charlotte, but if Michelle/Hopkins/Pricey/Calum win, they'd be my favourite :flutter:

Charlotte was one of my favourites too. She's not very bright but there is a compelling innocence to her personality. Charlotte is lovable.

No picking on Cheggers he's been a great housemate. :nono:

Oh, I hope not. Back in the first few days I'd have been more than happy with a Calum win, but not since his nasty, catty side came out.

I'll only be happy with a Keith or Katie P win.

I would prefer her over everyone but Keith but mostly because I don't really like any of the others. I don't dislike her but I don't feel she has contributed enough to the show to be a winner.

She's the girl next door, albeit the crude drunken one, but still lovely nonetheless

Sorry but i disagree, I've found him boring and whenever he has said something, he's been moaning or complaining, not for me I'm afraid.

Brilliant eh, I really didnt think he would get there but he has come to light this last week, he has actually stood up for what he thinks is right. Well done lad about time, the others should have done it as well. Am hoping that Michelle will be safe tonight, would like to think she at least gets into the final. I fear for Kav though. It just goes to show that it is always the last week that counts, all the work put in by others who want to win goes right down the pan. I dont mind at all if he does win....

He has been brilliant with the cleaning but he took the noms to heart and I believe that this is what caused the outcome of Cami leaving. He blamed his words on her leaving like she did and then had a go at them all when really he was upset because of the spoken word at noms.

Cami took the nom's more to heart than anyone. Michelle would have had a strop and a half if she'd ever been nominated. I would have been hurt if 5 people nominated me constantly for no apparent reason. That's human.

He had a go at them because they were all talking about themselves and whether they were now in the final. Maybe you should rewatch.

Not only has this Callum rise helped the show in regards to making the finale a four-horse race rather then three it is the way in which he has done so which I find the most appealing.

I would make the argument that about 80% of the support for Hopkins stems from her position as the anti-Perez candidate, but now as we've seen on the online clips Hopkins is now beginning to make amends with Perez and align, and whilst you may argue that it's done so the public can see Hopkins as "a changed woman who was nice all along" It's also taking away the reason for voting for her in the eyes of a lot of viewers. At the same time Calum is emerging as the anti-Perez candidate in her place and is garnering momentum from it, and as a result the anti-Perez vote is split in the same way that the anti-Hopkins vote is being split between Keith, Perez and to a lesser extent Pricey as well as slowing down Hopkins support.

As well as this there are punters to think about, I know people make jokes about betting syndicates but I do feel punters do sway the show a lot more in the modern era, taking long odds candidates and capitalising on momentum to bring about results which earn them much money, I felt it played a part in BB15 with Tamara, Matthew and Winston's boots as well as Hell-beast winning. Punters aren't going to find appeal in someone with short odds such as Hopkins or Keith, but a guy with an established support base due to being an attractive male who had long odds when the vote to win lines opened would be perfect.

Or maybe I'm just thinking too much

I know what you mean Jaxie. I think Keith is great and would love him to win too, if only there could be two winners. The reason I'm picking Katie is, whoever wins will get lots of press coverage and I think Katie Price will be a lot more vocal about the evil Katie Hopkins than Keith would be.

I agree with most of your posts but I don't really agree on the last point. She hasn't been very vocal a presence inside the house, why do you think that will change outside in relation to Hopkins? And also by the same token if she is going to be vocal about Hopkins she will get lots of press even if she doesn't win.

Calum is actually a coward. He's more or less threatened to beat Perez up. And, again, he implied, if it weren't for Perez having the shield of CBB, Calum would have assaulted Perez.

This is of course the mark of a coward. Just like Hopkins - another coward - she picks her victims very carefully. Attacks Keith because 'he's easy game'.

Back to Calum, I wonder if this coward would threaten to punch Mike Tyson's lights out. Of course not. 'Cause Calum knows he'd have no teeth left.
