View Full Version : Emma Willis leaves BOTS - fed up as the rest of us?

I'm abit gutted that Emma has left BOTS because she is a fab presenter and always seemed to be enjoying it as much as a die-hard BB fan should.... But recently I noticed that as the BLATANT manipulation of BB producers became more obvious, so did Emma's lack of enjoyment of the show.
Although the official reason given for her leaving is that she doesn't want to be "overexposed" due to her also presenting the Voice and keeping her job presenting the BB main show...
But I think its possible that she no longer agrees with the desperate tactics of Channel 5 and found it more and more difficult to respond to audience and panel questions with the "official party line" as instructed by C5 and pretend that the show was fair.
At least on the main show, she only has to worry about the responses of the evictee, not the general public who can see what BB is doing.
If this is the case (not that I'll ever know, but I can hope), I would be rather proud of Emma for taking the high ground and refusing to be a robot for an increasingly corrupt BB

I don't know really. I reckon she's just got too much on tbh, is it 2 kids she has? plus The Voice and there's talk of her taking over from dermot on the X Factor as well. I wouldn't be surprised if she just wants to distance herself from the trashiness of BOTs and get more high profile presenting jobs

I'm probably just wanting somebody to be a hero and stand up to Big Bro

BOTS is so one-sided these days. A few years ago it was more of a balanced discussion.

I agree, I think it has become quite trashy now, I used to love BOTs but now it irritates the life out of me...I do love Emma, and Rylan though...just the format has gone way downhill

Emma leaving is the beginning of the end for BB on any channel.
Emma knows its long past its sell by date and she has to think of her future career and get out on a high. Leaving BOTS is the first foot out of the now horrible door. She can now concentrate on more classy presenting opportunities. Good luck to her.

It's probably a career choice tbh, she's got The Voice lives coming up, she's also fronting a new BBC show with Reggie Yates plus her new panel show Reality Bites on ITV2. She's a very busy woman!

She has her eyes on big and better things. Who can blame her as she the capability to do really well ie mainstream peak viewing shows.
