Seriously, get rid of the live crowd. Their booing and chanting is ruining the live shows.

I did not know there was a live crowd I thought it was just the production staff.

The majority of them are just bitter individuals who love to hate. I mean, the fact that Patsy, Alicia and even Keith got booed says it all.
I want a live crowd but one that don't automatically boo everything that walks. Or shout 'off' ten seconds before the end of an interview, because god knows what they're hoping that will achieve.

I agree the crowd should be removed or at the very least the house shouldn't be able to hear them.

They ****king booed Alicia, who had a very hard time in the house and they booed Danielle after she had a nightmare week. They are horrible.

I'm quite sick of it to be honest. The booing, the chanting, the people screaming "OFF! OFF! OFF!" during interviews - I honestly can't stand it. You can tell that the intense booing does have an impact on the housemates to the point where some of them look startled and shattered by it.
And I can't believe the producers don't get that the show is 100x better when they have an in-studio audience and doing the evictions there or even behind the giant eye screen or something. I've watched a couple of American and British reality shows before and BBUK looks so unprofessionally done compared to the others. That outside audience just ruin things for me.

How does the crowd compare to Big Brothers in other countries? I only watch the UK version, are BB crowds as ruthless and hate-fueled in other countries as they are in the UK?

That's what I hate the most. Some of them do have a hard time in the house and for them to be evicted AND to come out of it to hear a multitude of people booing them horrendously - it all just seems very wrong. Even Emma was saying how shaken up Alicia was when she stepped out of the house and she didn't understand why the crowd was reacting like that. And Alicia didn't actually do anything wrong! The crowd noise is just too much and unnecessary at times.

Well, I've watched Big Brother US since the first season and the crowd does not horrendously boo people the way that BBUK does. Neither does BB Canada. The crowds are way more controlled. And the evictions for both shows are filmed inside a studio. I do have to say that the past two or three seasons of BBUS, the audience have been a little more reactive towards certain evictees by slightly booing controversial housemates, but its not as intense or as bad as the way BBUK audiences does it.
