Now what has Uma Thurman done to her face? Actress' suspiciously smooth forehead and tight smile leave her almost unrecognisable
She is renowned as a natural beauty but Uma Thurman was almost unrecognisable at the premiere party for her new miniseries The Slap on Monday in New York City.
The 44-year-old actress turned heads for all the wrong reasons as she stepped out with a suspiciously smooth forehead and puffy face along with an extremely tight smile.
While Uma's transformation was not as dramatic as that of fellow actress Renee Zellweger, who caused shockwaves with her drastically altered appearance last year, there was no denying she was looking decidedly different.

she does actually
it's a shame though that women in that industry feel that they need to do all that, she had a really interesting face :(

She's in the US adaptation of the Slap and Fall Out Boy released a single named for her.
Why would she ruin her momentum? She was fine the way she was.

Seriously? I would just stop being shocked about female celebs having plastic surgery. Also, I am getting annoyed with people making fun of people that have had plastic surgery like Uma Thurman or Renee Zellweger.

I haven't made fun of her at all, I just said I wouldn't have recognised her :shrug:

I wonder if she chose to look different or if the op she went for changed her appearance unexpectedly. It just seems like such a massive risk to change your face when that is one of the reasons you get employed as an actor.

I still knew it was her, it's a dramatic change but no way is it as bad as Renee Zellweger's changes!

If only women would stop putting pressure on other women to look perfect. Ive never meta man who likes these face lifts or has ever asked his wife if shed like one. Its purely women putting pressure on each other. Shes a brilliant actress and gets zillions of all sorts of parts so there was no need for this nonsense

so many women are so vein shallow and plain stupid, they spout all the clichés from a book about whats inside that counts then they do the opposite and obsesses on their appearance.....this is a massive problem within the female culture and its us men who end up having to foot the bill

She looks fine, a little bit more Tilda Swintonny which is always a good thing because Tilda Swinton is god.
Just like with the Renee Zellweger thing, I really don't see it. Renee obviously had work done but she didn't look "drastically" different IMO; and with Uma, she just looks 1) older and 2) like she's had her make up done differently, she looks minimalist. I mean I can't even remember the last time I saw a picture of Uma Thurman past Kill Bill: Vol II, she's obviously going to have aged in the last decade... and if she has had work done, well good for her, if that's what makes her feel good about herself then all power to her. She doesn't look awful, she looks absolutely fine.
Heaven = Winner

What do you mean you men have to foot the bill? I'm pretty sure Uma earns her own cash :umm2:
