You are probably right about the Twilight reference, it certainly is the worst piece of literature I have read in more than a decade... but I never read Twilight so...?

And the entire story arc isn't deep, and it actually translated better to film in my opinion since the literary savvy was lacking, and the screenplay seemed more suitable tp the story over all. It is very very softcore in the porn dept, and the fact that they don't show close ups of genitalia is what keeps it from being out and out porn.

I think my over all sentiment is, don't tell me what I can and can't read or see. I never set out to read the books, I never purchased them or waited for them through the public access library, but I read them in defiance of the controversy surrounding the books. Who out there has the right to tell me it's "wrong" or "not allowed".

I chose to read it despite the bad reviews, and found differing concepts and idea's than what is the standard or norm. At the end of the day... that is delivering a lot compared to some of the other trashy literature out there.
