So you like Nikki now?
And Aisleyne slays :nono:
Well she's been good in week 3 & 4, she's had a mixed start for me this week so I'll wait and see how I'll truly feel about Nikki by the end.
And Aisleyne can be funny, but she seems to think it's cool to be a sycophant to Richard and Lea, that's one thing that put me off Nikki at first but thankfully has become more independent as she's gone along.
Also does Aisleyne ever truly appear to be happy? She always seems so miserable to me.
Jason.

I thought they were still friends.
I mean, I know Nicola dislikes Imogen. But surely that hasn't influence Aisleyne.
During CBB, Imogen re-tweeted one of Aisleyne's tweets, about her crying when Imogen was evicted in the final week of BB7.

Nicola's a bitch.
I liked her on IAC, but not keen on how she is in general or on BOTs.
When did her and Ash become friends?
What's up with her hatred of kiss and tell girls too? She's a WAG, just as embarrassing.
I remember her calling Alicia a ***** on BOTs, or something along the lines of that. Yet she's only known for being a Page 3 girl, who nobody remembers.

I personally think that she was daft, because if she had've gone with say Pete vs Glyn and Glyn gets evicted like the most expected result would've been, Nikki was losing support anyway, Grace was the most hated, Lea was losing control of herself, there was Lisa also still in the competition, there was certainly enough people left in there by that point that Suzie could've outlasted, inherited their fans, and become a serious threat to challenge Pete if she played her cards right.
Passive-aggressive, absurdly-titted gold-digger has never been a successful archetype in BBUK history so I doubt Susie would ever have been a serious contender to win.
:clap1: At Grace throwing water at Susie for being a complete wimp.
ya and then Grace literally ran across the room and clung to the door handle until it unlocked so she could **** :joker: if anyone was the wimp it was her.

To this day, I am surprised Grace even gave Mikey a chance. It is obvious that he wanted Imogen. He even tried to kiss Imogen on the night the flirt fest reached a crescendo!
I think you are seeing the real Imogen at this stage - very promiscuous, very selfish (doesn't give a toss about anyone's else feelings), desperate for male attention.
She will never admit it but she probably regrets her behaviour during the three weeks she flirts with Mikey. She was being warned by the other housemates as well. The night before she was evicted she was taken into the toilet by the living room by Lea and warned about her behaviour.
I still find it funny that, to this day, whenever Sezer breaks up with a girlfriend she suddenly turns up. I also find it funny that Sezer will never allow himself to be photographed with her.

I remember Aisleyne during BB14 calling Jemima on Twitter, a transexual dog.
Which I found very nasty, and uncalled for.
I think Nicola is a bad influence on her, TBH.
Aisleyne needs some new friends. I believe they fell out last month, about the treatment of Perez on BOT's. Aisleyne was a Perez fan, and Nicola hated him.
Funny about the Casey Batchelor thing.
I remember back in January, I think New Year, when they put on that Celebrity Big Brother : The Good : The Bad : The Unforgettable. Nicola seemed to be making digs at Casey and supporting Lee Ryan, when they were showing the love triangle.
I think she called Casey ugly on it too.
If anything I find McLean hilarious for all the wrong reasons.
She calls herself a Page 3 girl, yet nobody even remembers her.
When I think of Page 3, I think of Jordan, or Sam Fox. Who the hell is Nicola McLean?

Aisleyne has recently fallen out with Bianca Gascoigne. Some of things that she now says about Bianca, in conversation with Nicola McLean on twitter, is totally rotten.
Interestingly, Aisleyne has recently reconciled with an old friend, Becky Middleton. I find it interesting because Becky is now very friendly with ... Sezer!

You see I'm not sure if it's just an edit thing to make Mikey and Imogen look bad as Mikey has stayed with Grace for nearly a decade now, or if at the time Mikey wasn't serious about the relationship and tried it on with another hot girl.

Of course, there was bad edit but it was always pretty obvious that Mikey wanted Imogen.
There were two big giveaways:-
1. The week after Grace was evicted, Mikey and Imogen were alone in the garden together, when everyone else had gone to bed. Mikey just literally stared into Imogen's eyes and finally said to her "... I am just looking into your eyes because if your pupils dilate that means you fancy me!". Gave himself away there;
2. After the flirt fest was finished, Spiral tried to flirt with Imogen. You could see a very jealous Mikey in the background watching them.

Episode 36 was the bizarre, virtually every woman "fancies" Pete night, wasn't it?
There should be a couple of things now obvious.
First, is the daily Richard diary room rant where what he says mirrors exactly what the production seemed to wanted their viewers to think (i.e Pete and his group are wonderful, the others are bitchy and nasty). It was almost felt scripted at times.
Second, Nikki's tantrums are starting to become a bit false. It becomes very noticeable during her rant during the upcoming milk task. I know quite a few of her housemates were telling her that the rants were probably making her popular with the public.

I mean he wasn't a nasty person.
But he was such a knob during arguments.
Never backing down, and always wanting to have the last word. He was always wrong too.
Wait till you get to his final week in the house (Week 11), he has an argument with EVERY housemate, except Pete. He has an argument with Glyn, Jennie, Susie, Aisleyne, and Imogen the week he was evicted.
People in the house were even saying "You're the worst person to have an argument with".

If you remember a lot of Mikey's arguments happened on a Wednesday or Thursday. He seemed to believe that Sezer's eviction had been down to the Hootchgate argument.
The impression that many had was that he was trying to stage the arguments in order to influence the evictions.
There were quite a few examples including the argument with Nikki over alcohol just before Grace was evicted and the ridiculous argument with Susie just after the Prison task had finished.

That actually makes sense.
But come on how thick is Mikey?
It was 2006, at the time. And everybody heard those chants the week before. They were baying for Grace. Everyone knew she was hated.
Back then when you were chanted, it literally meant they hate you.
These days you can get chanted, and win, as it's the norm now. The crowd seem to do it for fun.
There was no way she was going to escape that eviction. I also remember the reaction at the time. Mikey was seen as in the wrong. If anything it hindered Grace's chances of staying, as she started being two-faced during the argument towards Nikki, which is why she was disliked in the first place.

Because Susie's duller than Mikey, all she wants is a cuppa Tea.
And seriously nobody else caught on that Mikey tried to get Nikki evicted against Grace?
She's better than Mikey, even if she is dull.
She's actually very funny after about Week 6/7.
She comes out of her shell more.
Mikey's the Ash of BB7.
The way Mikey is now, is how he is throughout the series. Except for some arguments, during his last week, which are even worse. The fact that Mikey seems to be never move up or down in your daily rankings confirms this.
Susie is far more memorable than Mikey, IMO.
Glad you're finally beginning to like Aisleyne. Although you are quiet late. I love the girl, but she's quiet a bitch in Week 6, and very nasty to Lea.

Mikey is very middling for me for definite, that's why I would never get extreme love for him or extreme hatred for him as his just a very middling contestant for me.
And with Aisleyne I liked her in week 2, found that she was a sycophant during weeks 3 & 4, started to improve again in week 5, and is having a very good week 6 so far, this could be her equivalent to Nikki's week 4.:joker:
Imo the first 4 weeks are still the best weeks in the series though, up there with BB6 worthy, but I would say that week 6 is a very strong comeback from week 5 which Lisa stole from them all imo.

Thanks for the rankings, it's interesting to see where we differ and agree with each other on at such close proximity to each other.
Lea is very clever in the house, but it's not clever enough to win I don't think as the public always see through the Mother Hen role.

Haha LeRoy.
I didn't like Michael much, I found him annoying. But I couldn't put my finger on it.
Jayne was by far my favourite of the HND bunch. Hilarious woman. I don't get the hate for her, at all. TBH.
She was bitchy towards Aisleyne, but it didn't come across as venomous or malicious. Just childish and two-faced. They made up during her last week in the house. Surprisingly was one of the few housemates or probably the ONLY housemate, who didn't threaten to either beat up Aisleyne, or confront Aisleyne during BBBM, when they were voting ex housemates back.
Jennie, I also like. She wasn't the most entertaining. But I really liked her.
Jonathan was dull in the HND. I felt sorry for him leaving to no crowd.
I'm not sure whether he would've brought anything to the house or not, though.
Spiral, I agree with your opinion. He was by far the worst of the HND bunch.
It's early days, but as the weeks go on, he gets worse and worse.
I think in Week 8, you see his true colours beginning to unravel.
I won't spoil it.

I loved Lea and Richards friendship.
They were sort of fr-enemies, and had times when they hated each other, and times when they loved each other.
I believe they're still friends, nine years later. Nice to hear. I think they're one of the genuine friendships that have come out of the experience.
I think they both have a radio show together too.
Nikki gets worse. Her and Jayne get quiet bitchy about Aisleyne around Day 54, and continue to do so for the duration of the week, if I remember correctly. Those two brought out the worst in each other.
Nikki's behaviour towards Aisleyne that week is what sealed her fate in the Week 8 eviction and the fact she kept moaning and crying about wanting to go home. This led to her being evicted with 37.2% in a eleven-way vote.
I believe Aisleyne was the housemate with the 2nd highest amount of votes. Although, it's never been confirmed. It's pretty obvious, as that was the week the Aisleyne Vs Nikki fan war was at it's peak with both sides voting to evict the other.
I don't get what's to like about Michael. I found him either boring or annoying in someway shape or form.
Controversial, but I found it hilarious when Richard ripped into him.

But then you had Aisleyne's totally unneccesary flirt fest with Pete right in front of Nikki. Well that is the argument if you are a Nikki fan (which I am not).
Also coming up we have Nikki's eviction and 'Perfect' Pete's reaction to it. I always thought that Pete thought to himself:-
"... blimey she got all those cheers but they must have evicted her for a reason. Maybe it because of the way I hurt her by flirting with Aisleyne in front of her. I could lose the £100,000 because of this. I better get my arse in the Diary Room and tell the audience that I am in love with Nikki and that I miss her deeply. Cannot lose the £100k now!".
You have also got coming up the end of the Mikey/Imogen flirt fest. I wonder if Imogen regrets the way she behaved on that Monday night.

I'm sorry as I was hoping and I know you was hoping to probably see a completed thread, but at least Braden will continue this thread I think along with anybody else watching BB7 at the minute.
i think you may surprise some people but a lot of others will agree with you. I believe that BB7 went downhill very quickly from Week 4 onwards.
Nikki's tantrums became false and got on peoples wicks.
Aisleyne never said or did much of interest. Everything she did was to try and not leave BB7 to boos. She hated being booed and almost had a nervous breakdown over it.
Perfect Pete was just Boring Pete.
Glyn was just trying for the 'man to boy' journey which did not really work out.
Jennie just got as close to Pete and Glyn, as possible.
Imogen and Mikey partook in the activities but neither had the charisma of Sezer and Grace.
Richard just went back into his shell. I have spoken to Richard and even he admitted that he was bored by the end. He told me that, in some ways, he regretted what happened between him and Sezer because Sezer was the sharpest and most intelligent person in that house so he could just spark off of him. The other HMs, he couldn't. I probably would surprise you if I told you that Richard and Sezer were quite friendly for a long time after BB7 finished (once Imogen was out of the way).

Mock D: don't leave this legacy
It has been boring me lately too tbh. The HND eviction was really good, but I'm not invested in many of them.
I always thought BB7 was my favourite series but realistically BB5 & BB6 are better. BB8 even had more going for it at this stage tbh.
I still have love for it, but I overestimated how entertaining it really was. I loved 2006 because it was a really good year and that probably had an affect on my opinion towards the series.

If you're bored of BB7, at Week 8. Just watch the entertaining parts of the last month.
I think Week 10 is a good week, with the Best Friends task and the Prison Task.
I'd recommend these episodes as they are entertaining, and most of the great events happen.
Day 58 - Nikki's eviction.
Day 70
Day 71
Day 72
Day 79
Day 83-86
Final
I added Day 70 and 71, just for the Prison Task. Day 72 has Spiral Vs Aisleyne.
Day 79 was good as it introduced the twist, and had some arguments.
Day 83-86 was when they voted back ex-housemates. I'd recommended these few days as they are quiet entertaining, and you said you liked Grace and Lea, and they come back for a few days.
The last week of BB7, just like most of the final weeks, is quiet dull.
The final is always worth watching.

Imogen getting pissed off with Nikki & Jayne
Nikki definitely thought she ddragged Imogen under her wing, she was shocked when she defended Aisleyne <3

Thanks for the help BB6, but I'm quite a perfectionist that doesn't like to skip episodes if I'm investing in a show.
And Braden and KingPrawn said probably most of the flaws for me at the stage that I quit at tbh.

Mock you should keep watching it tbh, otherwise it would have been a waste of time :)

I get what you mean.
I still think you should at least watch Day 83-86, just to see your favourite housemates Lea and Grace.
Especially when Grace re-enters the house, for her 21st birthday.
It really is worth the watch. Highly recommended.

Lea's eviction interview was so weird.
She kept making random comments irrelevant to the questions she was being asked.

Davina: "Is it hard to live with someone that you fancy the pants off and aren't getting anywhere with?" (about Pete)

Lea was such an amazing contestant.
She really was an underrated gem.
People always mention Nikki, Grace, and Aisleyne as the stars, and whilst they were, Lea hardly ever gets a mention.

I did find her fairly entertaining.
I remember I was like 10 when BB7 was on, and for whatever reason I really loved Lea :joker: she was my absolute favourite, lmao. I only started to like Aisleyne towards the end.
Now that I've re-watched I can see why people like her, but I don't think she's that great. Most her story was based on her paranoia & relationship with Pete, which completely bored me. I liked that she was the only person who looked out for Bonnie at the beginning, and I go back and forth with her complex relationship with Richard.
I preferred Lea in her "mummy role" but tbh she rarely fulfilled that and was more of a "crazy 'young' aunt"

Tbh the two overrated contestants in this series are Aisleyne and Nikki.
Aisleyne because her only truly brilliant week is week 6, every other week she ranges from okay to awful.
And Nikki had some truly great weeks, but there was a lot of times when she was killing the highlight shows for me, like in week 2 and week 8.

To be honest, they don't get better in the later weeks.
Nikki, when she returns, has been told that everyone loves her for her tantrums. So he went in to tantrum overload including the "I belong in there" tantrum while she was in the HND and her tantrum over the Awards on the final night. It was just ridiculous.
Aisleyne, who was supposed to have slayed everyone, caved in to Spiral during a row in the Prison Task. God knows how she would have dealt with a Sezer (which she claimed she could do in her 'autobiography') or even Richard in an argument. She would have been taken to pieces.
She was desperate not to leave the house to boos. She spent most of the weekend after the Susie/Mikey double eviction drunk because he was scared about being evicted the following Friday. She then preceded to flirt with Glyn to ensure that he did not vote against her in the coming eviction.

I have heard about Nikki being worse when she comes back.
From where I left off this is my final evaluation of the two girls.
Aisleyne - Less annoying than Nikki, but was duller overall.
Nikki - More entertaining than Aisleyne, but sometimes she could be so irritating that it wasn't entertaining and just more plain annoying.
Overall I feel that Nikki was the better Housemate as like what Helen did in BB15, Nikki brought Aisleyne to the forefront along with Lea helping too.

I think Nikki's breakdowns were genuine, she seemed genuinely scared of Aisleyne to me
And that's from someone who prefers Aisleyne
I'm surprised people are finding BB7 boring?
Mystic Mock

The problem for some of us I think Daniel is that too many of the good Housemates got evicted in the first 7 weeks for a storyline of who will end up with who?
Daniel.
30-03-2015, 07:52 PM
Aisleyne doesn't get evicted so that's fine
