I hate the month of February. Its horrible, its cold, dull and boring. Normally I'm racing the dogs somewhere but every Feb we end up being off for one reason or another. Last year one of my dogs was ill and ended up being put to sleep in march, same thing this year another one of my dogs is unwell and I'm waiting for blood test results coming back but its not looking good. I've not been out the whole of Feb (supposed to be out this sat but we will see) I've been ill last weekend being sick all night Fri night, unable to eat for 3 days and had the runs, My tinnitus seems to be worse than ever. I HATE FEB!!!! Next year I'm going to have @ least a day away somewhere with my best mate I don't care where just anything to look forward too.
How's your Feb been?

Not good. It's been freezing since last night. :bawling:
Pretty dull and boring tbh, been loaded with a cold for what seems like weeks, feel all blocked up and stuff. The weather has been brutal, but you just have to get on with it I suppose.
Hope you get some good news about your dog Mizzy. Chin up.

My wife and I have had flu/cold also for weeks. It isn't shifting. I am fed up with the schizoid weather - glaring sunshine from an impotent sun which leaves us all frozen.
I'm fed up with drabness and rain, and cold.
Hurry up Spring and Summer.
Sorry to hear about your dogs Mizziy, and I hope things improve drastically for you - this weather is miserable enough without other misfortune.

Feb is Scotland is usually cold and dry and its been fairly cold and dry. The nights are getting lighter the snowdrops in full bloom and the Oyster Catchers will return soon. The Soil temperature (30cm) is creeping up (well its down to 4 C at mo but was 5 a few days ago) so things are starting to grow and Spring is next week.

It's been cold but the redeeming factor is I booked lots of stuff, like my summer holiday, a weekend away next month, a concert etc oh and we're going to see Tommy Tiernan (my favourite comedian) on Thurs so that made it bearable. January was worse for me

Pretty usual. Mediocre so to say. Temperature (outside) has been varying from 0 to -15 of celcius and i have not had a cold/flue yet.
I did have a pretty bad migraine attack with forced violent vomiting 9 days ago. That was pretty brutal. I did get better though afterwards which was pretty awesome.
Condolences about your pet.

I got a promotion so can't complain.
Also to all of you who are having a bad month, give yourself something to look forward to for the next one. A bit of positive thinking goes a long way :spin:

I like February. Mind you I was born in February so I have to like it. I like winter anyway. Lots of lovely stodgy grub. No gardening. Long dark nights cosied up with all the books I got for Christmas. What's not to like?

For me, eventhough I quite like the cosy nights by the fire with a book by Februaury it's just gotten old, I'm craving a bit of daylight and sunshine

Sorry to hear about your dog Mizzy, hoping everything turns out ok.
I love the winter, so February is fine by me, besides, it is a short month so it flies by.
Hubby is on his 18 day break, some lovely sunshine out there, what's not to like.

February has been good to me. Started working out. F1 is nearly back and I've kicked the drink for a while. March should be better cause F1 is finally back.

No it does not if you are talking seasons relating to weather
spring is march april may
there are other meanings of the word spring that relate to astronomy and that is what perplexes many as does the time changes that use seasonal words like British summer time

Yes it does :idc:
And so in Ireland spring traditionally begins not in March, but on the 1st of February with Lá Feabhra (February Day), also known as St. Brigid's Day; summer begins with Lá Bealtaine (May Day); autumn begins on the 1st of August with Lá Lúnasa; while winter arrives in November with Lá Samhna (November Day)

I know Feb can be bad
but in business so much is getting updated
change must happen
before we know it we will be on Windows 10
but Google Chrome laptops
are out at £200 in Currys-PCWorld
and No fecking Bill Gates in it.
So for me
Change is only good so long as choice gets better.
Once we can have Google Chrome UK Desktops
with no Mother Fecking windows in it
then its Utter Bliss

So sorry to hear about your dog and i do hope its good news, one of my dogs has cystitis at the moment so its piddle central !
I was at hospital yesterday for an op to take glass out of my hand which has been in there since last June ! so i have a massive boxing glove bandage on now , stitches out in 10 days, now i've got to try and get Lidyl to cough up some of my expenses ( it happened when i picked up a bottle in their shop)
I didn't go back in there to shop for weeks and when i did 3 weeks ago - I got locked the the bloody toilet !
I don't want to worry you but my brother had tinnitus and headaches for years and got fobbed of many times, he was eventually diagnosed with a brain tumor and it was too late ! So please don't be fobbed off and the very best of luck when you attend on Mon.
All in all i think February is the most horrid month of the year and i can't wait for it to be over !

things are getting better @ last.
I got the dogs test results back and nothing major showed up in the blood tests, there is a skin thing and there cud b an underlying cause but im not prepared to have her knocked out aged 10 for loads of tests etc so we will sort the skin thing out 1st and take it from there.
Im starting to feel better @ last.
Ive been invited out on sat and I might actually go now.
