Do you know people that do things just for the sake of telling other people they do it?

For example, there's a couple of people on my FB started going to the gym and it's as if it's done solely to inform everyone else on fb that they are going to the gym...

Statuses go like this (i'm being series btw)

"Filling up on porridge before the gym"
"Gonna be toned n tight soon"
"Heading to the gym"
"At the gym"
"So many hotties in the gym today"
"Knackered after my gym sesh today"
"Can't wait to hit the gym again tomorrow"

After reading that I honestly felt like replying "Oh did you join the gym :flutter:"

So yeah, is there anyone you know that does things like that?

Oh yeah - my sister-in-law. She does my head in.

If she is going to even load the dishwasher, she announces it and heralds every minor detail whilst pulling on marigold gloves:

"Right... I'm just going to scrape off the remnants of the dinner from the plates into the kitchen bin, then I'm going to load the dishwasher and....." :sleep:

It's the same with EVERYTHING she does.

My wife is nothing like her thank God, and just quietly gets on with things in half of the time.

and this is one of the reason why I don't bother with FB. Why don't you "unfriend" them Josy :suspect: Most people are "friends" on FB so they can have a nosy into other people lives :idc:
