There are always selfish people, who believe that rules don't apply to them. This woman seems to be of that breed.
Although I still remember that great one liner from Danny De Vito in 'Twins', when the cop asks him if he realises he has parked in a handicapped zone and he says 'Do I look normal to you*?

Anyone who isn't disabled and parks in a disabled bay should be publicly shamed.
My husband, who hates nothing more than the inconsiderate actions of others, was just loading the shopping into the car park in Asda when this car with four guys in it whizzes past him and parks in the disabled zone at the front of the shop. As all four get out of the car and start heading for the shop, my other half starts shouting "OY you lot, which one of you's disabled then?". By this time I'm cringing and semi hiding behind our car. The guys turn round and call back, "Its alright mate, we are just popping in to get some fags". "No your f-cuking not" my other half replies, "your going to get back in your car in less than five seconds and move it" and then he starts walking towards them calling out "5, 4, 3". The guys did get back to their car before five seconds were up but all the way home I'm berating him highhandedly starting on four guys. I agree with him shaming them though and I doubt any one of them will be parking in a disabled bay anytime soon.

Agree, don't like this way of trying to publicly shame everyone these days by filming them. She is right that he could have had a calm word with her first, going straight to the public shaming to try and get some online fame just makes him seem quite petty of him

She might have had some kind of mental disability though or something not obvious to us.

Its people who aren't able bodied that get disabled badges.
I think able bodied people that don't qualify for a disabled parking badge should be publicly shamed. They are lazy people that directly affect disabled peoples mobility.

..agree, an idiot for parking there and an idiot for his actions in videoing it and putting it on the internet, like he was so self-important he wanted an audience...

We all have given it him though so his won in that respect.
Imo I would never go as low as to anything like that about the disabled unless I was desperate.

But Her Husband has Guns
and can shoot the camera man.
In the UK it is an offense to park in a council run disabled parking bay if not displaying a valid badge. If someone therefore parks in one of those, report them to the police.
With the likes of supermarket car parks, it is not an offense, people are perfectly entitled to park in disabled bays if they so wish. Thats the law. So those naming and shaming are actually performing a worse act than those who park in the bays.
If it seems stupid, lobby you local council!

I really this this new trend where people think its ok to just take pictures and film people when they feel like it, he must looked so stupid trying to have a conversation with someone while holding up a camera. The guy filming her sounds like an utter douche like get over yourself all you had to do was talk to her.

What?!? Just because its private land doesn't mean that people shouldn't respect the provision that is set aside for others who rely on such spaces. Able bodied people who park in disabled zones are selfish douche bags.
How can you lobby your local council if its a private car park?
As far as filming incidents like this, I think he would of been far better just saying something but imo too many people walk by silly cows like her and grumble under their breath but don't have the courage to say anything.

LMAO
She's the one who parked in a disabled area but he's the one getting criticized in this thread. Maybe he could have been a little more polite but none of this would have happened if she hadn't parked in the disable spot and from what I could see there were plenty of other parking spaces.
I have no problem with people filming incidents like this maybe it will be a deterrent for such behavior in the future.

In the UK its not an offense to park in a disabled bay in a private carpark, so I'm sorry, but those that harass law abiding citizens are more in the wrong than those parking their cars

If you park in a disabled bay you deserve to be called out on it. And there she was with her self-righteous indignation not even thinly masking her ignorance, effing and jeffing outside a school with kids around. Classy...

Are disabled spaces different from normal ones? Because there must be a reason why disabled people get specific spaces.

Even if the car park is on private ground and even if a prosecution would not be possible (although the company who owns the ground can fine people for parking in disabled bays) people should have enough morals and decency not to park in a disabled bay specifically marked out for people who struggle to get around. Who knows which of us will need one of those bays in the future?

They are usually closer to the shop's entrance and they are wider to enable people to get in and out of their car easily and to load and unload wheelchairs.

Oh I never knew that, will have a look next time I'm in a car park

I'm not disagreeing with that, I think its wrong that people take advantage of those spaces. However, they are not breaking any laws, whereas harrasment and threatening those that do it is breaking the law. Thats the point I am making.

Well this wasn't in the UK it was in America.
So are you saying its okay to park in a disabled bay providing you're not breaking the law by doing so?

Oh I think you would find that if this ever went to a British court, the judge would be very much on the side of the camera man!
