Housemates you don't get the love for.

I thought it would be interesting to hear peoples opinions on popular housemates, who they dislike.

There are many overrated housemates, who I really don't get the love for.

Science (BB6)
I love BB6, it's my favorite series. But, I don't get why Science is so popular. I mean he took on the grotesque Maxwell, fair enough. But I found him to be a thoroughly obnoxious and shouty person, who just loved the sound of his own voice. I hated the fact he never backed down during arguments, and kept shouting down people. Having said that, he wasn't a malicious or nasty person, just an annoying argumentative twerp, who loved the sound of his own voice. In retrospect, I'm glad Orlaith survived over him, as his behavior the week he was evicted sealed his fate, for me.

Gina (BB14)
I really don't get why Gina's nastiness is overlooked. She wasn't funny. She was just an obnoxious twat, IMO. Her looking down on people shopping at Primark was seen as hilarious. Yet Zoe a year later, couldn't even live down her Tesco comment, which was said with no malice whatsoever.
Her "I've just experienced racism" drama with Jemima was disgusting to say the least. Her constantly shouting over her, and branding her racist, as if the word has gone out of fashion. Her bringing up her daughter in an argument, and making out as if Jemima was jealous of her, annoyed me even more.
People always say she was honest, but she wasn't at all. An honest person wouldn't bid a friendly farewell to a evicted housemate, only to slag them off in the Diary room, moments after leaving the house.
Her bullying behavior towards Hazel, and calling her a "slag, skank, and *****" at every opportunity she got was disgusting. Yet, the housemates she victimized were blamed, and hated. For example, Hazel and Jemima.
I loved watching her destroy her own popularity, after her treatment of Hazel, loosing the show she could've won.
The fact she's seen as a "legend", makes me hate her even more.

Danielle (BB15)
Although, I wouldn't say she's loved, as she isn't that popular. But, I don't get why she is seen as entertaining. I found her beyond unbearable to watch, and borderline an abysmal housemate. Her hypocrisy towards other housemates (particularly the other females), was unnecessary. I found her two-faced and disingenuous, and don't even get me started on her "failed game plan".
She's only liked by some, because of her dislike for Helen. I will never forget Helen owning her in an argument.
Should've went first, IMO. Fame hungry bint.

Gina, wasn't a bad housemate. But she was nasty, and I hate how it's overlooked, when she was just as bad as Helen, and Katie Hopkins, who are disliked for it.

Ashleigh was a better housemate than Danielle.
I found Ashleigh to be a nicer person, and more entertaining.
That's coming from a Helen fan, although, I don't mind Ashleigh.

The only time Danielle made me laugh was when she asked if people introduce themselves on porn. The rest was cringeworthy, and tiresome from the moment she started it.
I also laughed when she was outed for being on a show called Webcam Girls in a task, and her trying to reassure Helen and the rest of the housemates that it wasn't what it sounded like.

Her nominating Ash, for believing in the Big Bang theory was unfair. I think Big Brother should've reprimanded her for it. She's basically nominating somebody for having a different religious opinion to her. It's 2014, love. Well was.
That's like nominating somebody for being Muslim or atheist.

Noirin BB10 - Again has a fanbase on here and all she did was flirt with men?

Helen BB2 - She just seemed a bit thick and backward to me in the two weeks that I saw of her, she didn't seem that special to me.

Ife BB11 - I really don't get peoples love for her on this Forum at all, very strange to me as she didn't do anything.:laugh:

Sam Pepper BB11 - He bullied Josie and then sucked up her ass after a bit, what a character.

Sara BB13 - Bizarre loving from some people on this Forum with her again there, she just sucked peoples asses who she thought was popular with the public, Ch5's equivalent to Rachel Rice.

Dexter BB14 - I liked him at first, but he was so dull by the end because all he had done was hook up with Charlie, the only entertaining thing that was keeping him going was his feud with Callum.

Hazel BB14 - If this isn't people being shallow then I don't know what is as she didn't do a thing that was entertaining to me personally. (btw I didn't fancy her but I know a lot of people on here did)

Ashleigh BB15 - She has a good middle patch through week 4 to week 6, but after that she goes really boring again.

Christopher BB15 - He seemed like a nice guy, but I don't know, I really thought there was something really fake about him.:laugh:

Chris BB15 - He had fans for being a victim and sucking up Ashleigh's ass.

Danielle BB15 - I honestly didn't find her Christian routine to be entertaining, just very annoying.

Toya BB15 - I thought that she was a decent contestant, but the loving on here for her is really OTT imo.

I love Grace. Admittedly not as much as Aisleyne, Nikki, or Imogen. But she's up there with my favourites, from BB7. Great housemate, IMO.

In all fairness, she isn't that bad, when you have the likes of Caroline, Helen, or even Conor (shudder). But at the time, she was detested. I've always liked her, even when she got those chants.

Makosi, Kemal, Derek, and Craig all contributed to some great and memorable moments. Even Kinga, and she was in the house for like 12 days.

Science annoyed me, with his shouty and OTT voice. He just kept going on, and on, and on. Just SHUT UP!
He reminds me of somebody who'd sit at the back of the Jeremy Kyle audience, claiming that he's better than everyone.

He was funny at first, but by Week 8, it got tiresome and thoroughly obnoxious. It was his time.

In all fairness, she only bullied two housemates, in the first two weeks. People often mistake the fact that she bullied throughout the whole series, she actually never.
After that, she was just argumentative and had rivalries.

I think she contributed a lot to BB15, regardless good or bad.

Toya sucks and tried way too hard to make Toya happen. Her first two weeks were awful because she was a delusional tryhard starting pointless arguments with the most innocuous people like Jale and Christopher. Her final week was much better but literally only because of who she was targeting. Even then I was only amused for a day or two.

The only worthwhile parts of BB15 were Ashleigh and Danielle <3

Whether you want to say Helen bullied or just argued and was nasty is semantics really. At the end of the day she was still awful to pretty much everyone who wasn't in her clique of douche bros and it was not only unpleasant to watch but also helped ruin the series :shrug:

Toya and Matthew sucked so I don't get your point, and I don't really know what Marlon pushing the button had to do with BB15 being bad. There were plenty of things wrong with it.

I think BB manipulated us all good and proper when it came to Ashleigh tbh, it didn't take much to manipulate me when it came to her.:joker:

BB15 was **** because:

1) Housemates had been on the cusp of fame.
2) No mixture of different personalities, or ages.
2) The Power Trip theme, was good on paper, but realistically it was dire.
3) Carrying the theme throughout the series, meant twists and turns every other day
4) Twists. The thing is they were always nominations and eviction based, which not only messed up the format, but made the series boring and tiresome by Week 7, onwards.
5) Rubbish tasks. BB14 had great tasks.
6) Lack of normal nominations.
7) Bad editing. Too much of the highlights focused on Ashleigh Vs Helen. By Week 7, it became a chore to watch. Like CBB15, when the show revolves around two housemates (Hopkins and Perez , or Helen and Ashleigh) it kills the show.
8) Too much meddling.
9) Lack of original twists.
10) Forced conflict.

I don't think the nastiness killed the series.
It's how the nastiness was caused, which was by twists to create drama, instead of the housemates creating the drama themselves.

BB13 was a nasty series, but it was a good series. As there were less twists, and the housemates actually created the drama themselves as opposed to the producers forcing the conflict.
Also, BB13 was more divided, than based around two rival housemates, like BB15 was.
Same can be said for BB6.
