Sometime during the second series and everyone in school was talking about it. I woke up early on a Saturday morning and put channel 4 on to see what it was all about and they were all in bed on the live feed. I thought it was a load of ****.

My sister watched BB1. The first thing I remember seeing was them all rehearsing an obstacle course for the weekly task.

My auntie's told me about it - I ended up watching a Saturday episode where someone had just been evicted and everyone was really sad about it...I can't remember who.

Hilarious thing is my aunt denies all knowledge of this :D she hates it now.

I first remember seeing that screengrab of Victor throwing the platter at Emma's during Fight Night, then the following year I saw a few bits and pieces of BB6 before finally watching properly from BB7 onwards.

I may have been aware of Big Brother before BB5 but I really can't remember. :umm2:

I remember seeing it in papers for years before I actually watched it. When I finally started watching, I remember catching 5 minutes of the Big Brother 11 launch. I recorded the rest and watched it the next day.. then just carried on watching!

Reading up about the BB2 housemates in some newspaper whilst waiting to get my hair cut. I decided to watch it after that.

I switched over to Big Brother at the end of the CBB4 finale to see what it was all about and saw Chantelle leaving as the winner... I didn't think much of it but when BB7 launched I thought I'd give it a go, and from then on was hooked.

I remember watching the BB3 Final, but I wasn't a fan of the show.
My sister was watching it, and I happened to be in the room, and saw some of it in the background.
I didn't really know what BB was back then.

My first series was BB5.

I remember seeing the promo for it. Black Friday, with the last ever Friends and the Big Brother Launch.

It was advertised so much on Channel 4. The promo for it was great. It was made out to be this massive television event.
I was originally planning to watch the last ever Friends. But I kept seeing the BB5 advert alongside it. As they were both advertised together.

After watching the last ever Friends. I kept the TV on Channel 4, and just tuned in for the launch.

It looked really appealing. Especially the beginning of the launch, where the camera pans across the outside of the house, and Davina gives her opening line "One house, twelve housemates, and a whole world of pain".
I thought it sounded cool.

Then, they put in Marco, a homosexual who hates refugees, and then put Ahmed straight after, a homophobe, and ex-asylum seeker. I remember finding it hilarious at the time, and I said to myself "This is all going to kick off". I continued to watch the rest of the launch, and enjoyed the buzz electric atmosphere it had.

I tuned into the live feed after the launch finished, and stayed up till about 1am, watching them.

From then on, I was hooked.
