STRESSED Davina McCall is reportedly going back to Alcoholics Anony-mous meetings.

She fears her pressured lifestyle could make her turn to drink again.

The Big Brother host, 39, has just had a third baby and also had to put up with
massive criticism following her flop chat show.

Another BBC show, He’s Having A Baby, was also axed from the schedules.

And the pressure, combined with having to kick off Celebrity Big Brother in a week, means she is considering going back to AA sessions.

She confided in a friend: “I’m worried it’s getting too much for me again. I’m back at work soon and the temptation to have a drink when I’m stressed could be a problem.

“It’s better that I start dealing with things now, rather than getting further down the line.”

Davina, who gave birth to son Chester in September, has bravely battled with drink and drug demons in the past but has been clean for almost 15 years.

Good to see she is taking steps to help herself before it gets out of hand

Suffering from Stress is no joke.

I hope she manages to sort out her problems and develop better coping strategies to deal with her problems.

Poor Davina.... but they're not much of a 'friend' if they go blabbing to the papers

That's very true, it won't help matters much to have the attention the press vultures on you while you are trying to get better.

The media should probably take steps in stopping stories like this leaking. This could do her more damage than good.

But I suppose the media are there to inform, and inform they do.

Poor Davina. If her problems are genuine then having the media on her back will not help one bit. As you said, some 'friend' for going to the papers and gossiping (unless it is a publicity stunt - but i doubt its that - maybe the celebs pulling out was more of a publicity stunt). May I wish Davina a speedy recovery from her problems.
