I was in uni for an hour and it normally costs £3. I only had a twenty with me so I put £20 in the machine and it gave me £10 change (in coins). I have been robbed of £7 from a ****ing parking machine. I'm so shaken up.

Look on the machine for a phone nmber and ring them up.
It's a disgrace, bad enough paying £3 an hour to start with.

I had work so didn't have time to speak to anyone about it. It's shocking, it's £1.50 for less than an hour and as soon as you reach 60 minutes it jumps to £3.

Lostie!

Really shocking, still make a complaint however, you never know and the machine must show a surplus too.
You shouldn't have to put up with and suffer that loss,it isn't just a few pence after all.

I don't trust machines with money,I near always try to have as near to the amount I need for parking etc:
You can get ripped off left, right and centre, I have even had that happen with the self service payments in supermarkets.
So I am very wary now.

This is giving me horrible flashbacks. I was once out playing pool at the University union - the tables take 50p coins, and there is a change machine that you can put notes in to get change. This fateful day, I put in my £5 note as usual... and the machine spat out one 50p coin. ONE. I informed Union staff, "nothing they could do", they said, as the pool tables (and change machine) were supplied and maintained by another company.

Traumatic to say the least.

Nope. They've been replaced by machines too.
