did he really educate him tho? bc medhi hassan was quite good in that episode
Hasan's point at the start is stupid, it is evidently not the case that Muslims are mocked but Christians never are, Christianity is much more regularly taken the piss out of
Starkey is also right when he says that the Islamic world was once home to some of the greatest advances in human history as well, hence it is clearly not inherently backward or anything like that. It is when Islam turned on itself that most of the problems arose, it tore itself apart and the Islamists with their ever more extreme dogma are a product of that

the left wing don't like david starkey because he tells the truth, that's the reason they call him a racist and a bigot, in todays britain, you cant have an opinion, or you will end up in court, because of your words,

what world are you living in tbh? muslims are bullied for their beliefs (even the unhateful muslims) meanwhile christians can go around (some of them) and preach hateful opinions and not get reprimanded for it

Don't try patronise me kid, I am well aware of the problem of Islamophobia in this country and have talked about it dozens of times on here. If you actually understood my post you quoted you would see that even that was attacking the Islamophobic mindset of seeing Islam as an inherently backward religion, which is nonsense. But seriously, what sort of world do you envisage if you seriously think that anyone is scared of mocking Christianity. It's been commonplace in Western comedy, satire, cartoons etc. for decades.

I love Starky... I love his views and I love what he says here.
Anyone should be allowed to say whatever they like on religion whenever and wherever they like.

people mock Christianity enmasse, as we saw withjerry springer the musical where he was portrayed as an incontinent drunk and Joseph was a rapist. 50,000 complained to stop it being shown on the bbc and they were ignored.....a similar anti mohammad play was called off and the theatre was set on fire. the double standards are everywhere, people are simply to scared to mock Islam

This comment alone should preclude you from posting in serious debates for at least four years.

I'll remember that the next time there's reference to any politicians appearance in the lead up to the election, it's one of my pet hates too it's a bit silly.
